Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

Since I am still having the tendon issues in my arms I am going to involve my GP now, have a phone appointment with him Monday. I am still seeing PT and making no changes to prep except for switch from low to high bar. Hopefully involving GP can get another medical opinion and maybe some other options to treat and to cope with.

Is there any PT’s that do muscle activation therapy near you? I was somewhat skeptical about it but it’s helped me quite a bit

I will ask my PT if he does or can refer. He is thinking it could be tight neck causing it so has added in trying to get the neck looser

If you’ve had injuries to that area and couldn’t use certain muscle or perform a specific type of movement your body will compensate. The compensation gets the job done but long term can cause major imbalances and result in even worse pain. Most PT’s just try to get the weak area strong with band work or stretches , isometric etc but if the muscles aren’t firing they’ll never totally work right. Probably why people over 40 or 50 years old very often say they’re “beat up”

If you suck at something, do more of it
Thinking about it and talking with Perrin, its confidence issue with me. I know I am strong enough and have done it many times I am just not consistent hitting depth. The anxiety I get before squatting is stupid, I used to love squatting lol. Worried about bombing out so will have to do a token squat light enough to not worry about it and just get the whites. Post meet work the squat hard

Since I am trying to fix my squat and have less than 6 weeks to do it I have been watching all my videos to see what I did right and what I did wrong. One thing starting to notice my knees crack or pop on all squats lol

Called it here arms..

Pretty beat up basically end of week 8, 2 live fire training weekends in there. I am officially wiped. 1 week left of volume then 4 weeks peaking.

My mind all over the place. Fear, doubt, wanting to quit and drop out of meet, but wont just feeling it hard this week and not happy with arms and squats so a lot of doubt right now.
