AC Valhalla was the most recent one. I am SUPER picky about games. When I get into one I really get into it. I do not like multiplayer games. I hate shooters like call of duty or battlefield or halo. They are just fucking boring and the multiplayer aspect sucks dick. I do not enjoy listening to a bunch of shit talking teenagers while I play my games, I want my game playing to be my quiet time.
I mostly play single player, RPG, open world/semi-open world games. There's a few shooters I've enjoyed, but not many. I can't fucking stand call of duty or fortnite or any of those fucking garbage games. They're just fucking shitty money grabs.
Recently played games in chronological order, all on PC. I haven't owned a console in years. PC Master Race. AMD 3800x overclocked with a 2080 TI, all watercooled
AC Valhalla
Horizon Zero Dawn (at first I wasn't sure, but I really liked it)
Black Mesa
Metro Last Light Redux
Metro Exodus
Enderal (fucking LOVED this game, modded the shit out of it too)
Red Read Redemption 2
The Outer Worlds (loved it, but god damn it was way too short. Only 20-30 hours of gameplay with ALL side quests? Fuckin a man give me a bigger game!
Skyrim (modded to all hell on my PC I played through for the 5th time or something. Including a TON of extra story/mission mods that add hours and hours of gameplay content to the game and some of which were REALLY fucking well done!)
Sekiro (FUCKING AWESOME GAME, I really want a Sekiro 2 ASAP!!)
AC Odyssey
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Dishonored Death of the Outsider
I couldn't get into AC Origins though, the gameplay just felt way too clunky compared to Odyssey, which I played first. I also tried to play modded out Fallout 4, but just couldn't get into it again. I had the regrowth mod on where it makes all the trees and vegetation green an
So far for upcoming games all I am really interested in is Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring. Also "Away The Survival Series" where you basically get to play as bugs and animals and stuff like you're playing an RPG version of a PBS nature documentary! Looks sick
Maybe New World? I am not an MMO fan though so I doubt it. I REALLY fucking wish they would port Ghost of Tushuma to PC. Like come on people fucking just do it already. They would rake in some solid cash from that port. Same goes for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I would play that if it were available.
I am interested in Half Life Alyx, but I don't have any VR equipment and will not drop the money to buy it just for this one game.
I don't know if I am interested in Mass Effect Legendary Edition or not. I played all the Mass Effect games years ago, I don't know that I really care to play them again.
Usually I only play games in the winter. I will basically not play in the spring/summer/fall much at all, then in the winter I will recap everything that came out over the last year and while I am bulking all winter I just work, lift, play video games, and obviously still go for hikes and shit trekking through the snow, but there's definitely less outdoor activity.
Edit: it's funny I was actually thinking of making a thread like this after my fiction and non-fiction books thread, it seemed like a logical next step! Thanks for making it for me
