Any gamers here?

I just Want modern guns again, no more of that iron sight bullshit.

Plus actual skilled based gun Play. Thank God
Yes please. And total freedom on the battlefield with their original formula. Have you played battlefield 2142? That game was the shit. New game looks similar.

definitely got my hopes up

AC Valhalla was the most recent one. I am SUPER picky about games. When I get into one I really get into it. I do not like multiplayer games. I hate shooters like call of duty or battlefield or halo. They are just fucking boring and the multiplayer aspect sucks dick. I do not enjoy listening to a bunch of shit talking teenagers while I play my games, I want my game playing to be my quiet time.

I mostly play single player, RPG, open world/semi-open world games. There's a few shooters I've enjoyed, but not many. I can't fucking stand call of duty or fortnite or any of those fucking garbage games. They're just fucking shitty money grabs.

Recently played games in chronological order, all on PC. I haven't owned a console in years. PC Master Race. AMD 3800x overclocked with a 2080 TI, all watercooled

AC Valhalla
Horizon Zero Dawn (at first I wasn't sure, but I really liked it)
Black Mesa
Metro Last Light Redux
Metro Exodus
Enderal (fucking LOVED this game, modded the shit out of it too)
Red Read Redemption 2
The Outer Worlds (loved it, but god damn it was way too short. Only 20-30 hours of gameplay with ALL side quests? Fuckin a man give me a bigger game!
Skyrim (modded to all hell on my PC I played through for the 5th time or something. Including a TON of extra story/mission mods that add hours and hours of gameplay content to the game and some of which were REALLY fucking well done!)
Sekiro (FUCKING AWESOME GAME, I really want a Sekiro 2 ASAP!!)
AC Odyssey
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Dishonored Death of the Outsider

I couldn't get into AC Origins though, the gameplay just felt way too clunky compared to Odyssey, which I played first. I also tried to play modded out Fallout 4, but just couldn't get into it again. I had the regrowth mod on where it makes all the trees and vegetation green an

So far for upcoming games all I am really interested in is Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring. Also "Away The Survival Series" where you basically get to play as bugs and animals and stuff like you're playing an RPG version of a PBS nature documentary! Looks sick

Maybe New World? I am not an MMO fan though so I doubt it. I REALLY fucking wish they would port Ghost of Tushuma to PC. Like come on people fucking just do it already. They would rake in some solid cash from that port. Same goes for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I would play that if it were available.

I am interested in Half Life Alyx, but I don't have any VR equipment and will not drop the money to buy it just for this one game.

I don't know if I am interested in Mass Effect Legendary Edition or not. I played all the Mass Effect games years ago, I don't know that I really care to play them again.

Usually I only play games in the winter. I will basically not play in the spring/summer/fall much at all, then in the winter I will recap everything that came out over the last year and while I am bulking all winter I just work, lift, play video games, and obviously still go for hikes and shit trekking through the snow, but there's definitely less outdoor activity.

Edit: it's funny I was actually thinking of making a thread like this after my fiction and non-fiction books thread, it seemed like a logical next step! Thanks for making it for me :)

Can’t wait for DL2.
we need a movie and tv show thread as well lol.
Mass Effect 1 and 2 still hold up pretty well.
I recently tried to play Andromeda but something about it just felt off and boring.

Thanks for your priceless contribution to the thread.
I know when I see a thread that doesn’t apply to me that it’s my civic duty to reply that it doesn’t apply to me and why.
You too pussy hurt that some of us have real lives and don't sit around playing video games.
season 3 youre a fucking pussy GIF by Shameless

Don't have enough time to play video games. Have wife and kids and gym and work
Lol, why so much hate on gamers? Your responses are incredibly childish. I have the same full plate as you (add in day trading to my 40-60hr/week job) and I game still. Not to the extent I would if there was more time in the day, but if it’s something you want to do you can find time for it.

In actual response to the thread I play Battlefield on PC pretty much exclusively. Ready for 2042 to release! Usually upgrade the PC for each new release, but GPU prices and availability are still crazy. I’ve lost interest in most other games for some reason, but have been into FPS since UT2004.

It’s hard to say. It’s a gamey/realistic FPS. Not as realistic as Arma, but not as gamey as COD. BF3 was my intro to the series, and I’ve played them all since then. 1 and 5 are WW1/2, BF3/4 are current, and 2042 will be current/future. I’ve played lots of FPS over almost 2 decades, and BF is my favorite. If you have BF3 or 4 on a game pass to play for free I would check those out. They take quite a few hours to get used to, but are immensely fun if it’s your cup of tea. I know the PC multiplayer can get quite competitive, but Im not sure how the console games are. The single players are fun, but multiplayer is always where it’s at.

To each their own. I don't know that you meant your post condescendingly, but it definitely seems that way.

You're saying you don't have time to play a video game for a little while, but you do have time to shit talk against people who DO play video games on a bodybuilding forum? It's up to you how you want to spend your time. Instead of sitting around being kinda mean and bitchy, spreading negativity, you could just enjoy some time playing a video game (or better yet, reading a book). It's up to you though...I just never, ever understood the desire to talk shit online. It is an even bigger waste of time than call of duty LOL

Your right guys. I don't mean to be like that. To each their own. To me kids play video games and I don't mean to be condescending. My way is not better than yours. My apologies guys. I do want to be positive member of the forum and not negative.

It takes a man to apologise. I respect you for doing that.

When’s the last time you’ve played a video game? Maybe we can all help you figure out one like and you can could give it a try. Its actually something you could do with your kids
