So some things I've been seeing thinking.. it's normal to leave weapons and equipment behind because it's not cost effective yo transport back home but we usually destroy all the equipment.. they didn't.. why? The talis now have a fuck ton of more weapons and night vision.... why did they not destroy this stuff?? No time? Told not too??.

My understanding regarding the military equipment is that it was a gift to the afghan army, who then folded like a lawn chair thus it became a gift to the taliban in the end. When it was apparent the afghan army had collapsed the americans shouldve bombed as much of the equipment as possible.
