When did the world become so fucking soy?

I agree with this taking on religion, religion is idiotic.

However the even more ironic part is the people who talk shit about religion who claim they are "spiritual"

LOL, people calling religion a cult but saying shit like "my dead father is watching over me". "karma comes around to bite you in the ass" "I am spiritual"

Usually the same people lighting sage trying to use their qi to balance their chakras based on their natal horoscope. The soy mindset is everywhere now, it's even leaked into a fucking steroid forum, imagine that.

You don’t have to have a certain BMI or bf to enjoy anything. Did you skip over the part where ive helped people lose a lot of weight. Not only did they lose it they almost always keep it off. Perhaps your failures with helping the obese get healthy and no longer become a drain on America is the fact that you’re stuck in a mindset of eat this don’t eat that and you’re setting people up for failure. Why make things harder than it has to be? Most of the time when people start to lose weight they start to feel confident and do other things that help them continue and speed up their progress.
A lady I’m currently helping who is doing amazing was an extremely overweight woman who works at a gas station. When she first mentioned weight loss to me she said her hardest thing is giving bread and sugar. I told her there’s nothing with bread or sugar. I have her my number and told her to not even worry about measuring or counting anything at first. I told her to start out by only eating half of what she normally would. Go ahead and get what you would normally eat but put half back. If you’d normally eat a piece of cake get a slice and put it on your plate and put back half. I explained to her that if a piece of cake was 400 calories then putting back half if she eats one a night that she’s cut out 1400 calories a week. She did this for 2 weeks and then we started working on calories and adding progressive cardio starting at 10 minutes a couple nights a week. This started 6 months ago she’s currently sticking to 2000 calories a day, no cheat days and walking 45 minutes 5x a week. She’s lost 150lbs. She was hopeless because she always thought there was good food and bad food.
The problem is too much bad and overly complicated information about restrictive eating and not enough talk about simply moving more and eating less. You’ve got an untrue narrative in your head that isn’t helping anyone.
Before you create an opinion go out and help some of these people you sound so disgusted by.
You are putting words in my mouth and it isn't appreciated. I never said half the stuff you are claiming. I have actually had many conversations with overweight people, family and coworkers mostly, about this and I do very much understand it really is a simple solution. I have explained this to people, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I have worked with people one on one before, sometimes with success, sometimes not. I always tell them: start going for walks. Walk every day if you can, particularly after meals. I walk/hike every day. Eat less food. Cutting out sugary foods can help people control their eating, because ultra-palatable foods are harder to stop eating and make people more likely to overeat. That's all there is to it.

In the end, they have to WANT IT. Badly enough that they can overcome their addiction to processed food, because it is very addictive and that is a fact.

I wasnt making any statement about anyone else in my post. Literally all I did was state how I feel about the food I eat. I dont really enjoy wasting my time, sitting around judging other people for what they eat or drink or how they dress. I really don't give a shit. But the sheer level of obesity in the world and in my case, in America, is objectively damaging to the entire human population, to the ecinomy, and directly to my wallet as I have to pay that much more in insurance premiums and taxes to madicare/medicaid.

I am very glad you've been able to help people. Making it simple is necessary. People don't like to do hard things. I always try to simplify it too. One of my coworkers went to the gym eith me once when we were at a conference and asked how to be more like me. I just said to eat more protein, less food, and start doing pullups, pushups, and air squats/lunges. Then expand from there. 2 years later he looks liie a totally different person. He's got muscles instead of a belly lol

Anyway, please don't put words into my mouth. It seems like we actually agree on most of this entire topic.

Also this:
Well the person who believes in Jesus is part of an old bronze aged death cult. Religion is simply mass hysteria. It’s not exactly sane to believe in an invisible all powerful being ruling the universe who killed himself to save us. How would you treat someone who believes the earth is flat? It’s not the same. However you’re creating a false narrative. Do you have any actual arguments that aren’t made up scenarios in your head to feel like a victim?
It’s literally a bronze aged death cult. Beliefs don’t matter when facts are involved. In fact I’d say beliefs and faith really don’t matter much at all.
There are actually gay people that exist. Jesus Christ wasn’t even a historical figure. In fact most religious texts in general are historically inaccurate.
lol the right calls me a lib and the left calls me a trumper. You’re just a walking meme. You’re a stereotype.
What did I say that’s factually incorrect? Is all you can do is try to sling bad insults at me?
Lmfao dude I agree with you 100%. Chrisianity took its beliefs from the egypitians and the gnostics and the jews and it goes further back than that.

Anyone who has the audcaity to learn even a little bit about the history of religion can see that christianity was just the next evolution of a looong line of religions, each with their own tweaks and unique things to them. It is just by chance thay christianity rose to the top, due to the fall of rome and the dark ages, and their paternal take that allows them to tell others what to believe. If it werent for the chamce series of events aling with blatant manipulation and religious wars executed by the catholic church, christianity would've died our and some other religion would've risen in its place. There is not a single religion on earth that is "right", because nobody, I repeat, NOBODY has life, and most certainly not the afterlife, figured out.

I dont understand the point of this thread. Humans are unreliable and dishonest. It depends how you live and where you live. There are plenty of capable and resilient people. There are statistically more of the population moving to and living in cities which is a very different lifestyle. Lots of variables here...

Not only the Egyptians, but Christianity took many of it's fundamental beliefs from European pagan religions of various types and places. As well as classic mythological Roman beliefs.

Religion, whether it's Christianity, Islam or any of the other numerous folk or ancient religions of antiquity all come from the same source: people's inherently natural desire for spiritual answers. That desire is then manipulated by those exploit this element of human nature to gain power. They do so by reinforcement of what some want to believe. Like homosexuality, or the idea of sin.

While I myself am not a religious person, I do see the human need for understanding of the world around us.

Ironically, a new religion is rising. And it's following the exact same template every other religion has followed all throughout history. From a ride of a few fanatically devout followers, to massive nations practicing it's dogmas.

This new religion is liberalism. It's political practice is basically Marxist communism, and it will soon swallow the globe. Just like Christianity swallowed European cultures and traditions.

Eventually, like the rest, it will eat itself. But there's going to be a lot of suffering along the way. I don't think it can be stopped at this point.

That nlm guy is one of billion's.

I just think skinny ripped pretty boys aren’t attractive as they think to women. Women prefer a real man, a hunk of a husk type of man who can chop trees down and snap bones like twigs
