In case you haven't noticed, the hot girls at the gym have boyfriends and definately don't talk to the buffed guys at the gym unless they're just being nice. And there are a whole lot of TickTock videos of girls confronting guys staring at them at the gym.
There was a time when Schwarznegger and Stallone were sex icons. Then Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. Even Channing Tatum and Chris Hemsworth had their time.
But now, think Pete Davidson and Paul Rudd. I mean The Rock has a following but the guys like him a whole lot more than the females. I'm not sure why. I know when Trump became president there was a huge backlash against "toxic masculinity." The me too movement. But also, things just change.
That's not to say that no girls like muscles. Everybody has a type. But it's not what's in right now. And if you have muscles you better be lean if not shredded.
No, I haven't noticed, because I don't go to the gym. I have had a home gym for the last 15-ish years and that is where I STRONGLY prefer to work out at home. I just like it a lot better. I focus better, I get a better lift in. I don't have to wait for machines or weights to be available. It's the best IMO.
No, I don't have an instagram or any of that bullshit. I also had no idea about the ticktock videos of girls confronting guys because I don't fucking look at tick tock lmao. That platform is for children and for people who want to give
as much of their personal and home network information as possible to the Chinese government. Why would I waste time on that piece of shit app?
I don't pay attention to what people are saying about masculinity and feminism and all that shit...I just do what
I like to do and dress how
I like to dress. I do not have a sense of style. I just wear the same clothes I have always worn. I just don't give a fuck what other people think about me.
To summarize the rest of what's below:
In short, pop culture may represent some amount of the population, but honestly I don't even think it is a majority. Yeah, a lot of women think Paul Rudd is hot. That doesn't mean they ONLY think guys who look like Paul Rudd are hot. For the other guy, I honestly have no fucking idea who Pete Davidson is. Anyway, most women often have a wide range of guys that they are attracted to and don't have one single
type. The same goes for guys. Additionally, you are correct that most women are NOT as attracted to a 250+ pound mass monster as they are to a lean-jacked guy that's 6'2 and 220-230 or something. That ultra peeled bodybuilder look grosses a lot of women out and always has.
You must realize that just because
pop culture magazine (or what-the-fuck-ever) says Paul Rudd is the sexiest man alive doesn't mean shit for at least half the population. There will always be a ton of women who say Paul Rudd isn't their type. Or maybe they think he is very attractive, but he isn't the usual type. There's also a psychological aspect of knowing that Paul Rudd is super rich AND he seems like a really
nice, genuine, and sweet guy that would treat a girl well. So that plays to his favor as well.
