What has the USA done recently that changed anything for the better?

Look, we got out problems, but dont shit on America! Every fuckin minute we're sending some bitch ass country money so they can have their own peaceful welfare shithole. We're the first country to come running when someone cries for help, most times under cover of darkness, whether money or manpower. We do the shit no one else will. You want a gov overturned? We slaughter the fuckers. Your economy needs a kick in the ass? We provide the money or goods. Whether our citizens suffer for it or not. We do it all, and then some. Never forget that.

Debt we can easily extinguish, and itll come to that in time. Oil? You damn right. "We do the shit no one else will." Remember that. Thats one tool in our arsenal. Never for a minute think its out of need.

Shit no one else do like destroying a country for your interests only or like putting the Amerindians in zoo?
And printing dollars can't resolve the huge debt...

When you understand we control the world youll understand why we havent had WWIII...yet. Multiple targets will be taken out before that happens. Its already started. And we're all better for it.

No one will print dollars to extinguish a debt. Anyone who believes that is the purpose of printing dollars is a fool. The world was close to switching from US dollar to Eur....that didnt happen. We're getting close again. And again, it wont happen. When you figure out why pat yourself on the back for learning something.

Not any point to enter deep into this conversation. Is a steroid and lifting forum.
Things aren't how you say but whatever. People who have eyes have seen how it is the deal with US.

Although i agree on some parts like laziness should not be rewarded, you just made yourself sound like a stereotypical dumb ass yankee lol

What has the USA done recently that changed anything for the better?

Even the president is damn near incapable of forming a normal sentence. The one before that was even worse. Also US is probably top of the list on unhealthy people, and crime, and the best US cant go a few years without sparking a war.
Trump had our country running like a finely tuned racecar, economically speaking. He said lots of dumb shit that didn't need to be said but many, if not most, of his policies were sound.

Joe Biden is a fucking moron that is just a puppet. Everything the man touches, turns to shit.
And besides all this, most likely you wouldnt know about the accomplishments of european countries because you most likely cant even pinpoint Europe on a map let alone know anythkng that happens here.

ALSO the unemployment rate in scandinavia is lower than the US, and the minimum wage is way higher
As for wages, who the fuck cares if the wages are higher when you have the crazy taxes that allow your welfare states to run. A $30k car in America is $60k over there. You need to take these sorts of things into perspective.

To say Biden was a better president than Trump shows me that you don't understand shit about what America stands for, even if you can find it on a map.

What the fuck has Biden done to make him a better president than Trump was? What the fuck has Biden done that is good for this country, at all?

He's about the most unqualified, unworthy POS that has ever had the honor of being the POTUS.

Trump may have been an asshole, but at least he had a plan and could speak in coherent sentences. Our economy was booming before the Chinese bat flu was released.

Truly, what the fuck has Biden done since being elected? Tripping up stairs and sniffing on hair. This senile old fuck belongs in hospice. He should not be the leader of free world.

Started doing AA, and i am just listening to the part about god and higher power, making my higher power the energy of the universe. As i dont believe in god. But i i am ok with others who do, because who am i to say they are wrong. When its what they believe. So i pass over that part, because the other aspects are for healing spiritually. But the healing if the pain felt and progressing like @MFAAS said is huge. I am really done with all the pain that cane with substance use. It just gets worse and worse always leading to the same dam place lower and lower.

Been working this program because i have no way else to try to get sober. I have tried everything. And so far so good. I must spend 2-3 hours working on myself because my last relapse was tourture and horrible. The damage that can be done in just 5-9 days is ridiculous.
Yeah I struggled with the whole higher power thing as I really am almost an atheist...like I am agnostic, but I really don't believe in any high power. Especially the insane way they teach it in the bible/quran/etc. I would rather be Buddhist than any western religion by far.

Regardless, I've found nature to be the most healing thing for me besides lifting,

Running on a treadmill sucks. Running out in the forest surrounded by trees and flowers and mosses/ferns is incredible.

You can do it man. It gets easier as time goes by! But you ALWAYS must be vigilant to ensure that you don't slip up. A massive part of that is daily gratitude practice. Being thankful for your life, what you have, where you live, not being dependent on a substance to function. The list goes on. Being grateful and mindful is critical to succeed IMO.

The criminal record is the biggest problem with drug addiction.

Most people know that if you don't want to die you'll have to stop and most crime drastically drops off as a person reaches 40 years of age. It's a process, drug addict keeps doing it until his health or life is fucked up and then he sobers up.....it's commonsense, there's nothing out of the ordinary as this process is carried out thousands of times everyday by addicts.

The criminal record exists to destroy peoples lives, hold them back and that is the most sinister aspect of the United States, they punish you for the rest of your life as drug laws are really just a means of creating employment for the dumbest percentage of the population that chose to enforce these laws and are incapable of doing work that actually contributes to society.

Lots of people have cleaned up their lives, but they are forced to withdraw from the world because society thinks if a government makes a law it's somehow handed down to Moses and the government knows what is best for all of us.

Those looking to an imaginary God for relief need to realize your God is the Government, God is nothing compared to the terror of the United States Gov.

The stories of turning your life around are the same for anything else. A person over eats and becomes morbidly obese and can no longer take it so they lose their weight. To me a drug addict is no different than anyone with a problem that reaches a point of causing suffering and a person stops the lifestyle to stop the suffering.

How many millions of people have the problem of spending money in this country, I'd actually consider the addiction of trying to keep up far far worse than a drug addict that will quit eventually, get clean and go on with their life, but the addicted spender is gonna have decades to pay off their debt which is far more painful and really suggest a much deeper character flaw as the war on drugs is basically bullshit if you look around at all the far more common problems most people cause in their lives.

As for me I partied in college, when I graduated I never touched narcotics again and probably only got drunk half a dozen times. Past the age of 32 I never touched any alcohol again. In other words I grew up as we all do.

When you look at America like that it’s ass. But when you’re someone who sees the opportunity you have to get ahead of the pack by working your ass ofd it’s way different. Our president is a retard. Entire world is laughing at us. I don’t care what so ever. Opportunities are still here.

I don’t look at the lazy people. I don’t care about them. I look for opportunities and ways to improve my own life with what’s offered. The US offers a ton with capitalism if you’re willing to go out and dip your hand into the pot.

People fucking my burger order up make the same as my profession starting out. That’s just wrong. Minimum wage = minimum skill. Which we shouldn’t reward non skilled workers who take zero risk and do the bare minimum. I understand some people don’t have a choice. But I do. So why not take full advantage of it. People are lazy as fuck and blame everyone else for it.

Also I couldn’t pin point anything on a map. I don’t give a shit too. It doesn’t help me with anything what so ever I can Google it. I want to make money while providing service and be a useful member of society. Then I can visit Europe and go wherever I want while I enjoy the fruits of my labor. I fucking love capitalism.

I agree too and despite my sober time I still have days where I’m so inclined to go buy a bunch of vodka and drown myself in it. But I quickly snap back to reality knowing where that path leads and frankly I’m not ready to kill myself that way.

I had issues with AA not for the spirituality aspect because with modern AA you can make that higher power represent anything you want. The part I didn’t like was how AA became an addiction for many people in the groups I would visit. They weren’t drinking but they would attend multiple meetings a day and constantly regurgitate their old issues instead of growing and healing and getting past them. I called them dry drunks
