Dexa scans list the body fat percentages and lean tissue amounts for various parts of your body. That is the point. That's how i learned my arms were 9%, torso 12%, and my love handles 18% lol. All adds up to 13% or so.I think sometimes people take b/f too far and overthink things. It's literally impossible to get a b/f % that is equal/the same for every inch of your body.

If you can grab a handful of fat anywhere you are fat. If you can pinch fat in places you look great. If you cant find any fat anywhere better eat.
The only bodyfat measurements I trust are DEXA scans and hydrostatic weighing.
Inbody was shockingly comparedable to a dexa scan which is making me wonder if I wanna drop 300 on the damn home machine.
Calipers, standard BF scales, and neck measurements are shit.
I mean, how does someone say that Ronnie was 7% at contest ready? eyeballing isnt horrible but at a certain point requires full body scans to confirm it.

I think i would be more 15-16 percent bf. But i worked at a gym and i would do the inbodies for people. Alot of the people were off, by both over and under. Like 5 of the women showed much higher of a bf then they realy were and i had to explain that to them, that no way they were 40% bf. They were like 30. Personally, I grew up a little heavy. I looked good at 4 years. Then I was forced to eat everything on my plate. So partially because people tend to lean towards what they didn't have.Don't get your knickers in a twist when you've read this post coz it's not trying to have a pop at anyone's choices but things are very different these days in bodybuilding/weight lifting/training/fitness etc so I'm just opening up a discussion (if you wanna get involved).
Unless you earn a living from modelling or competing in a sport why the fuck are you so focused with being ultra lean all year round and denying yourself the pleasures of living a normal life and eating a normal healthy diet?
Do you do it coz you like looking in the mirror everyday and worshipping yourself? Or do you do it to impress the girls/men in summer or when you ocassionally get a new sex hook up? Do you do it coz you spend a lot of your life naked/semi-clothed and being cut gives you confidence that you're beautiful and better than other people? Or do you do it for other reasons not listed here?
This is a genuine post BTW with genuine interest into the mindset of guys and girls that diet all the time and eat in really odd and unhealthy ways just to look good (lean) on the outside.

Almost all parts of my body atm would probably give a true b/f calculation of about 16%-22%.....but if the calculation was done on my belly fat I'd probably get told I'm clinically obese and need medical attention
