How many reps? Depends on body part? Now it’s ~12 sets per day on a push/pull/legs variations so maybe 12-14 sets total per week on my highest volume body part.
I used to do ~20 sets a day when I first started.
I absolutely agree. The only people who know I use steriods are my girl and my immediate blood relatives. I've told a couple of exs I trusted I used steriods and when we would argue they would use that against me. Either in a threatening way(telling the police or my employer), or a "you're only big because you use steriods". A lot of people think you can just take steriods and you get big. They don't understand the hard work, lifestyle changes, constant force feeding yourself, waking up at 3-4am daily 7 days a week. The strong strong discipline this lifestyle demands. That people are super ignorant about it. We're viewed as mentally unwell freaks, either that or they're jealous and irritated about it, there's a lot of projection and insecurity involved. People don't like what they don't understand, and bodybuilding gets a lot of bad press on top of that. Oh and we're all on steroids, and that's what does the work. I stopped giving diet/fitness advice years ago because it was always blown off like "what do you know, you're on steroids so your advice doesn't count".
I would have sent an email and reported her to herself hahaThat reminds me. I was at a company conference one time with a fitness center at the resort. The HR manager saw me in there with my work out clothes (not used to seeing me like that). She said ewww that is disgusting then immediately started apologizing and a few more times after that. I was like thinking to myself, "hell yeah."
She was mortified I would complain for a long while. I said no way, it was cool.
Agreed, the only people that know for sure are my wife - and one of my old doctors. But, people know... you know. Big guy, lifts every day, bodybuilder = steroids = opinion on diet/training doesn't count.I absolutely agree. The only people who know I use steriods are my girl and my immediate blood relatives. So I keep my mouth shut about training, nutrition, ect. Except here, of course
Absolutely. I think the unknown about steriods (the general public i mean) perpetuates the myths about them.Agreed, the only people that know for sure are my wife - and one of my old doctors. People dont get that using steroids means you have to be even MORE strict, or you die. But, people don't wanna hear that they have to put in work and be consistent literally for years or ideally the rest of their lives. Everyone wants an easy pass, and so everyone assumes there's an easy pass, and they assume ours is the needle.

Would be interested to hear more about how you divide it up and if you train each set till failure or how you go about your trainingNow it’s ~12 sets per day on a push/pull/legs variations so maybe 12-14 sets total per week on my highest volume body part.

Well it depends on what you call a set. I'll slowly work up over a few sets, not to failure, to my final "working weight". I'll do one all out set to failure and beyond (rest pause or drop set) on all exercises except squats and deads. A lot of people don't consider those warmup and feeler sets as actual sets.Interesting, will try the 2 sets until failure instead of the usual 3x10-15.
Anyone else doing only 2 sets per muscle group on a PPL?
