I'll start us off by saying I thoroughly enjoyed the movie A Haunting in Venice!
It was so damn good I went back and watched the other 2 previous movies. A murder on the orient express, and A murder on the Nile. I never thought I'd enjoy murder mysteries like that but I'll be damned if they weren't great movies. I'm not one to watch TV or binge watch anything but hot damn boys, those movies are worth a watch.

Rewatched Jingle All The Way with the family recently. It’s a Christmas movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger from about 20 years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it, very funny and entertaining.

Great movie, among my holiday go to's along with Bad Santa

Bad Santa, Die Hard, Christmas Story, and Muppet Christmas Carol all hold up for great Christmas movies. They're mandatory in our house each year.

As far as other good movies, the newest Mission Impossible was fun.

Bullet Train is an absolute blast.

Terminal isn't new but holy shit was it a great ride.

Batman 2022, I then rewatched Batman begins (2005). I like Batman movies, though I'm not usually in to superhero/fantasy genre of movies. Some might dislike the current actor but he came a long way to play Batman. So to me it's all good and fitting.

All aside from the newest mission impossible, which I haven't seen. these are amongst my yearly gotos for fun xmas movies.

Anyone who ain’t ever watched The Raid n Crank watch em they’re probably the best actual action movies ever (n I don’t really like most action movies unless they are different/violent af). The classics like Tarantino/Scorsese/Cronenberg stuff always is dope (n takashi miike for Japanese insanity, check out Ichi The Killer, Audition n Gozu), my favourite genre is horror though so I’ve been watching all sorta B Movies while getting baked recently n Nope & Barbarian are some of my favourite recent ‘mainstream’ ones that came out the other year.

But fr idk if y’all agree but shits been getting real dumb movie wise like there’s a couple gems every now n then but each year they get so shitty, n I ain’t that old so idk tf is goin on it’s like there’s gotta be a fkin shitload of the same damn boring superhero movies every year n some random girl story or remake with a chick then if you’re lucky a couple gems like killers of the flower moon, the last voyage of the Demeter or Oppenheimer but the vast majority is fkin trash, I’m curious to check out the Hell’s Angels movie with Tom hardy tho that looks dope n the mfka is a great actor (if you ain’t seen it or don’t know the story check out Bronson now that’s a fkin dope movie bout a crazy mfka who well shit just read the wiki bout the guy)

If you like those sorts of movies, try the two Knives Out movies on Netflix. Zodiac and The Hateful Eight are worth a watch in that sort of genre too.

Fk yeah Tarantino is my favourite director ever and I really loved the hateful eight, between the fact it’s mostly all in one room for 3 hours n his mastery of dialogue plus that fkin amazing ending it’s one of my favourites of any movie that came out recently (shit I remember going to watch it a 2nd time at the cinema with my ex n her mom n that scene where Samuel L. Jackson’s character gets the guy’s son to suck his dick for a blanket was hilarious looking at her super rich suburban mom reacting to the scene ahah). Zodiac is also fkin dope I need to rewatch that as it’s been a while but you can’t go wrong with RDJr n em, if you ain’t seen tropic thunder watch it, it’s a star studded cast n hilarious af (which seems to be largely missing nowadays). Plus if you ain’t seen any of the Rodriguez movies with Tarantino I think you should definitely check em out cos From Dusk Til Dawn is a gem but even the Mexico trilogy n the grindhouse ones are amazing, sorry for the rant but I’m super into those types of movies ahah

Hateful 8 is a fantastic movie, I love Tarantinos style of directing the back n forth banter between characters an they're development is fantastic. I believe I've seen knives out as well. Both great recommendations! Zodiac is one I'm gonna have to check out
