Anyone ever wonder why they don’t start producing steroids?

If they can make fentanyl and meth and cocaine in labs I think it’s safe to say they can make steroids in labs. And if they can get the precursors for fentanyl they can get ingredients for steroids.

Or they can probably make their own raws at this point.

Plus we all know how easy it is to sneak shit into the USA from Mexico. Whether it’s hundreds of illegal immigrants or drugs they get through everyday.

Because they want to maximize profit.

They want to make cartel money, have gold AK-47s, and drive into the village with one of several options of Lambourghini, Ferrari, etc.

The US demand for narcotics is far greater than its demand for AAS.

That's not to say the AAS market is not a robust and reliable one that demands high profits. But compared to the narcotics trade, it's paltry. When they have corrupted the highest institutions to create a functional narco-state as it were, why wouldn't they just go all the way, to the really illegal stuff that prints money and sells itself?

They don't have unlimited resources.They want the highest return on their investment. While they can capitalize on avocados and shit its a totally different business. Whoever has lab equipment there is better off financially to make drugs that are more costly gram for a gram.

The last time I remember any significant involvement from Mexico was prior to Operation Gear Grinder in 2005 and even then I think cartels left it alone.
This was when Mexican veterinary AAS by Quality Vet, Denkall, Animal Power, Tornel, Brovel, Pet's Pharma, Sydgroup, and Loeffler accounted 82% of all DEA AAS seizures.
