To Freeze or Not To Freeze: Lyophilized Peptides

I freeze and take 1 out at a time when needed

By default, I freeze all the ones I am not using.

However, seeing the strong opposing opinions has me wondering...

Fridge for me. I’ve been convinced there’s probably residual moisture in the vials. Plus, as per jano, peps in the fridge should last for years and that’s good enough for me.

I freeze, maybe after I'm done with all of them I'll switch to fridge only. Then reconstitute one at a time

If there's a stock of peps in the freezer, is it too late to rotate them to the fridge?

Or is it that once they're frozen, the only option is to remove to reconstitute, then place in fridge?

Moisture degrades peptides. If the vial contains excess moisture, how is the refrigerator going to stop it from degrading the peptide?

Plus, as per jano, peps in the fridge should last for years and that’s good enough for me.

For properly lyophilized peptides, which do not have excess moisture.

The whole moisture argument is absurd.

No one knows for sure without degradation testing of specific peptides, but as long as they’re properly made they should last years in the fridge.

Regardless on where you stand in the great fridge or freezer war, stable peptides last around 4 years for things like gh in the fridge fridge we know for sure. Perhaps longer in the freezer. I don’t know because mine never last that long.

Yeah I can't vouch for how long it last in freezer. I just take one vial out at a time and when low I replace inventory
