Ok, call me crazy, but I can not find anything directly commending an ITC ruling regarding “U.S. Customs and Border Protection should prevent the illicit import of knock-off tirzepatide products.”
Admittedly, I looked for like 5 minutes.
There’s the US ITC ruling against those specific companies, and they won for Trademark Infringement (Mounjaro), False Advertising, False Designation of Origin, and Trademark (Mounjaro). But nothing in that ruling mentions border security (that I can see).
There’s the ITC, International Trade Centre, but I don’t think they have anything to do with this.
Can someone smarter than me find the exact ruling that EL mentions in this article?
This says a decision isn’t made yet? It looks like the latest tea is a Notice of Request for Submissions on the Public Interest.
There are a lot of rumours and I know it’s not a huge deal, but I’d like to have the information from the source. If anyone has a legal background or a few IQ points ahead of my dumb blonde ass, I’d appreciate an educated opinion.
