The chickens are with the farmer. They take care of them and we get the eggs..

Wife and I were talking about that. Best explanation I could concoct is that Broilers have been bread to grow so quickly for slaughter, that stock was replenished quickly. Whereas layers to replenish the culled birds are still growing towards being ready to lay.

i’m going to blow my opsec here, but i don’t think i have an HEB within 1000 miles of me. it’s usually Costco or bust, but assholes are hoarding at the moment.

My brother has 6 houses with tyson contract .. he is loosing about 100-200 birds a day per house to the flu rn.. he sells in 2 days...(these are broilerhouses tho not laying houses)

The Farmers don't own the chickens they raise them under contract for big poultry companies.....

It's not bullshit.
Planet Fitness launched a marketing guerilla campaign to draw attention to their brand and it paid off massively. They're a household name at this point. Every time some normie thinks about joining a gym the first brand that pops up in their mind is Planet Fitness. They were able to achieve this by baiting the dumbest demographic possible (roidheads and powerlifters) into posting reaction videos and indignated comments about the lunk alarm non-stop.
I actually went to a Planet Fitness for the first time a few days ago because my usual gym shut down for a snow storm. I was surprised. It was a pleasant environment, all the machines were brand new and even had automatic rep counters and timers.

Meanwhile eggs are cheap and plentiful south and north of the border, as both Mexico and Canada vaccinate, but we can't import eggs from either.

I'm surprised to discover Americans eat so many eggs, tbh.
I thought it was all cold cereal, pop tarts, microwaveable burritos, or fast food, if the ever growing selection of those things was anything to go by. Surprised so many frying pans and stovetops still in use....
Should probably triple the price of fruits and vegetables and limit the quantity people can buy and they'll start eating more of those too.
This is a bit off topic, but is there any relation to reduced appetite for fat on GLPs? I swear after starting Tirz even thinking about high fat foods makes me sick. I'm only on 5mg so minimal appetite suppression.

GLPs are already hitting Walmart, junk food manufacturers, alcohol companies hard.
Many big packaged food corps are reworking their products to smaller portioned, high protein foods with flavors that their scientists determined still appeal to the exogenous GLP modified brain.
Everyone in the food business knows it's going to have an exponentially larger impact in coming years.
The economic impact will be huge in multiple areas.
It'll affect medical expenditures significantly, as knee and hip replacements are expected to drop substantially, far less demand for cardiac care, diabetes, cancer rates(obesity is the #2 cause, a surprise to me) are expected to drop significantly, etc etc.
