What's up Meso
I am starting Triz and want to ask those who are using it for any tips when first stating
Thanks for the feedback

Hey! Going to start tirz soon, going to get the 15mg vials. Any advice on a good amount of bacs to reconstitute with? Been trying to find is theres some kind of guideline on the right amount to be injecting. Going with the standard plan of 2.5mg, to 5mg etc...

e.g in a 15mg vial if i reconstituted with 1ml bacs, using a 1ml insulin needle for a 2.5mg dose that would be pulling the syringe to 16.7, then for the 5mg dose it would be pulling to 33.3 units. Is the advisable or should i reconstitute with a bit more?

Sorry if this seems like a bit of a noob question btw i'm very new to a lot of this! haha

Cheers
I believe @Ghoul our resident expert recommends 0.5ml per 2.5mg so you would use 3ml (but he can confirm with a 15mg vial)

Ohhhh okay i see that makes much more sense! Thanks so much!
.5ml (min) is the target per dose, from 2.5mg - 15mg.

For example:

If you're going to use a 15mg for mixed doses, just reconstitute with 3ml.

2.5mg doses will be .5ml
5mg will be 1ml.

On your next vial, reconstitute with 1.5ml so

5mg will be .5ml
7.5mg will be .75ml

Next vial would be reconstituted with 1ml

7.5mg will be .5ml

etc.

Started week 9 yesterday, went up to 7.5.

Had a decent appetite yesterday, but woke up today nauseous. The only thing I have been able to eat all day is a rice cake with honey. I'm going to try and get a lift in , I'll lyk guys know how it goes.

@Ghoul any advise on how long I can expect this nausea to last ?

On a GLP nausea typically occurs after eating too much. Unfortunately, if you eat too much before the new dose kicks in, and the food hasn't completely left your system yet, you can get nauseated as retroactive "punishment" for what you ate before.

If you stick to small portions of food, which sounds like it's all you can handle anyway, nausea should fade within 12 hours.

It's best to eat lightly starting the day before increasing the dose.

I had no idea that Hunter had a website. This is fascinating, it’s like he’s combining entirely different eras of my life. I’m browsing through different posts and simultaneously getting Geocities vibes while looking at ChatGPT copypasta. I didn’t know I needed this.

I'm right there with you bro, I'm on my second week of 7.5mg and the nausea and fatigue has been brutal.
Maybe @Ghoul can chime in on micro-dosing Tirz ?

GI sides and appetite suppression are inextricably linked. The nausea isn't a side effect as much as one of your body's natural mechanisms trying to get you to eat less. You can't reduce one without the other.

Back off on the next dose if the sides are too much. That's how it would be handled if you were on pharma. It always starts tapering off by the 4th day after pinning you so don't have long to wait. If you were ok on 5mg go back to that.

Not an advocate of multiple doses per week for several reasons.

Once you're ok, try a smaller increment if you want a stronger effect. Increase to 6mg and see how it goes. That flexibility in dosing is one advantage of vials vs pens.

Thanks for the feedback, it's always appreciated
Would you care to elaborate on your reasons not to micro-dose ?
Thanks

I have seen a few posts/comments on Reddit about injecting Tirz in the outer thigh to reduce side effects. Do any of you guys have experience with this?

I don't see why it would make a big difference but I guess the further away from the stomach the lesser GI sides?

ive read that different places on body have different absorption times. my humira has to be injected into 2 exact body places for example for optimal relase. or i was told that my by dr... @Ghoul will know better

It's absorbed more slowly from the thigh than the abdomen, lowering the initial "surge" and potentially the immediate post injection sides.

It's more important to make sure the volume is .5ml and not lower, since the lower the volume the faster the rate of absorption.
