Improvement in Endurance training with peds

Yes please update. Are you taking any supplements like iron, B12 or aspirin to keep blood more viscous? Also do you know what would be considered safe parameters for your hemoglobin levels? Personally I want to keep my hematocrit not much higher than around 50ish mark to be safe.
I'd keep the hematocrit below 48-49 and hemoglobin lower than 16. You dont wanna have both of them high cause that also pushed up thrombocytes over time and can cause some painful headache. Been there done that

Sounds like you have personal experience? Did you find it helped with performance? Seems like athletes (especially pro cyclist who used the stuff) claim it can provide a 10%+ boost in performance. But if you read any of the cycle logs of people doing it in these forums (aside from one I read on Reddit) it seems pretty anti-climatic with negligable results. I get the feeling that its a risk/reward thing..meaning the more you take the better it improves your performance but also increases the risk factor substantially.

Not with EPO no but usually when going with a higher dose of AAS these markers slowly creep up

I did not really notice much performance, i do daily cardio of at least 30 mins keeping heart rate at 130 and that has improved my RHR and overall cardio performance greatly over the past few months. Surely the higher hematocrit benefited to some degree but i would say doing consistent and high insensitivity cardio over time has done more

I have seen somewhere that every hct point eancreae equals 0.8 vo2max gain but idk if its true
Epo itself doesnt do shit, the performance gain is caused by higher hct (yes that is caused by epo btw)

EPO works wonders, I took 30,000 IU weekly for a month and got my 1.5 mile time down to 9:40 from 13 minutes in preparation for the navy prt. RHR dropped as low as 42 from high 50s with no change in training routine.

What was your original hct and after epo? Btw its a big dosing considering other other logs with epo what was ur weight?

What safety measures did you take? Did you test your blood and if so how often? If so what markers where you looking at? Agreed 30,000 iu a week seems a bit high. It seems that in order to get good gains you really need to take a higher dose, which of course just increases the safety concerns. Thanks in advance.

I dont think its wise to treat it as a normal peds where u cycle it normally, you should start with a dose on the low side and monitor hct frequently
The performance gain isnt from epo itself but higher hct so u shouldnt blast randomly epo because more epo≠better performance itself, different people react in a different way and i have seen in a study that is also weight dependent

48->60

I was taking 1 baby aspirin a day and upped my hydration to 3 liters a day. My systolic did go up to mid 120s from 110. Besides that I didn’t notice any other symptoms aside from the occasional headache.

I’ve tried EPO previously with dosages of 4-6,000 IU per week and barely notice any performance benefits that’s when I really started to up the dosage (thank god Epo is dirt cheap and accessible without an rx in Mexico). In my previous cycles I’ve pushed my hct as high 63. Maybe it’s person dependent but I didn’t really notice those purported insane performance enhancing effects until I touched a 60 hematocrit. My average walking hr dropping to high 80s from 116!

What was ur weight?

I am a former bike racer. I still train pretty hard (12-20 hours a week). I started using hgh and Test. 2iu HGH nightly helps me recover. I am over 50...Since I started using hgh I just dont wake up with all the little aches and pains I was starting to get. I then added Test 200 mg weekly. Within two weeks I gained 10+ pounds which is a huge no-no for cycling (power to weight ratio). I understand after doing some research that most of the pro cyclists "brew" was HGH+TEST+Cortisone for recovery and EPO for more red blood cells. The question I have is weight gain is pretty common with Test. I wonder how they got away with no weight gain...Lower doses?

Weight gain of ten pounds within two weeks is water which can be controlled.

They're on a strict diet, and that dose is probably pretty high for you. Have you tested hormone levels?

The majority of people have cut weight on cycle at some point. It's much easier than naturally.

Yes my test was pretty normal. Free test was a bit on the low side and my SBGH was high. A doctor recommended 200 mg, I am thinking maybe I real it in a bit and see what happens.

Hello. Does anyone know how long a wada can detect epo (epoetin alpha) in an urine? (Detected time epoetin alfa in urine). Thanx

Only a moron of an athlete that’s tested would ever take anything like test C
Sublingual or TNE only way. And both have minimal water retention

Hello Feldy. Would you tell us more about Cortison. Why do you take it, when, how much? I've been looking for information on it and can't find it for a cyclist. Thank you and greetings.
