Is only one cycle a good idea?

Hey I'm very new to steroids and new here so any and all help would be apricated. I have a 10 mL vial of testosterone enanthate and was thinking about taking 250 mg for 10 weeks then stop. the reasoning for only wanting to do one cycle is that I'm 6'1 and 130 pounds, I'm thinking its a good idea to take it while hitting the gym to put on muscle fast and then work from what muscle I retained after the cycle and keep working on my body natural from there.
Is this a good idea? are there any bad side affects from only taking 250 a week?

Gear wont make you eat more. That is likely your number one problem since you are 130 pounds. There is no such thing as one cycle. I can guarantee you that.

When you come off you'll probably lose whatever you gained in the following months when your test level is non existent and you feel like shit. Not because it's hard to hold onto tissue without gear but because you don't have the ability to eat....and train.

Gear isn't magic. You'll maybe put on 5-10 lb of muscle with a perfect diet and training plan. Then again...if you had a perfect diet and training plan you would not be 130 pounds naturally so chances that "cycle" would not change much for you. 250 mg is barely TRT anyway. If you're gonna do it might as well do it properly. Most of us are in it for life and don't come off. I personally don't see a point in going on and then off completely.

And yes there are side effects. You will have a limp dick if you don't know how to manage your estrogen. You wont know how sensitive you are to estrogen until you start. Acne if you are prone to it. Your hair might start thinning rapidly if you are prone to MPB. Water retention.. etc.

Youre 130 pounds at that height just eat some food and you will grow fucking fast. Honestly noobie gains will be extremely quick if you just figure out what it means to pick up a fork.
Gear aint worth Jack if you can’t eat, and if you eat wrong it isn’t worth the negatives because progress will be extremely sub par

For eating, try ipamorelin or ibutamoren.
Or learn how to eat like a normal human being. 130 pounds is smaller than my wife and she eats women sized 3 meals a day. How is that 250 pound men dont need these drugs but 130 pound men do?
Eating is a skill, diet and hunger, insulin sensitivity and digestion are all things you can intelligently manage.
Address the root cause, dont use a temporary “quick fix”

I eat 3 meals a day, portions that are for 2-3 people. i couldn't tell you the calories since i dont track those. ever since i weighed in at 128 ive been keeping a close eye on my weight and what i eat. to put into perspective ill genuinely eat 7-8 boiled eggs as a snack between meals, big plates of rice and chicken, lots of shepherds pie that emphasis on the cheese and beef. everyone in my family has the same build as whether its my aunt and uncles or my cousins so im starting to belive its genetics thats why i want to hop on test

How old are you? You need to get your training and diet down and be consistent for years before trying gear.
like i said in my reply to @Slowww eat unholy amounts of food. i am 20 years old and ive been going to the gym for about a month now. its been around 2-3 years since ive last gone and even back then i saw 0 improvement. thats why i was looking to take test for 1 10 week cycle to build muscle and have something to work off of instead of skin and bones

Then you are doing something wrong, everybody gets 'neural stronger' quite fast, if dedication is put in to work... Even small dedicated Natty girls gets stronger.

Then eat some sh!t in between meals, learn to grow, you will feel like pjuking when you are in a surplus -> and then you eat a little bit extra.....

Size will then follow slowly.....

damn so i really just gotta eat till i physically cant. when i say i saw 0 improvement i mean no physical changes but i was able to lift heavier and heavier in very very small increments

i didnt realize gear was such a big commitment. the reason for wanting to take only 250 of test e and nothing else is from what ive read is that its more likely to avoid the side effects im avoiding such as acne and hair loss/thinning (my hair is my life) while seeing slight benefits in the gym

You may eat a lot of food, but I am willing to bet you're not getting enough protein. It is a very common mistake to think that just because you're over eating you're getting enough. Start tracking your food to really find out. Diet is the absolute most important factor in making any progress.

I'd also try and get your Test levels actually checked. It may be that you need to be on testosterone as TRT anyway. At 20 years old, this used to be unheard of, but for whatever reason(s), there seems to be a growing epidemic of lower testosterone in young men.

protein definitely isnt an issue i eat plenty of beef, chicken, eggs and protein shakes. i should get my test levels check tho that is a good idea

You have been going to the gym for 1 month and cant make any gains so you want to take gear to make the gains for you?!?!?! That is not how it works. If you think this will work, what do you think will happen when your cycle ends? Your going to lose all your gains because you dont have your training and diet dialed in. You need 2-3 consistent years of training and diet and then you can think of taking gear.
