Last I heard, L4T does not utilize HPLC, rather GCMS+NMR. Was there any mention from them if this has changed?
Also, will the combination of the two produce data points similar to HPLC, like can you quantify with these?

If there are others that strive to be like him but hold no weight. Well then, I will gather them upon their approval, that way those can do whatever it takes to be within tolerance of 1-2% or better than the subject matter expert. If his competitors claim to have the knowledge to identify and know quantification of the API, I want to be aware of it.
Jano did accept the samples so we should some news down the road. Pardon my ramblings as always

This thread should catch the eyes of other forums and sub communities. Many of wished for something like this, or thought it would be a good route, and Pench is following through in 24 hours. Spread the word, everyone in the game deserves to know how this plays out.

Nothing wrong with competition. If we only have one option to test products, that gives Jano a monopoly and power. And power corrupts. Competition keeps people held to a standard that they have to defend with vigilance and not becoming complacent. Competition and options in testing labs is good for everyone, just like competition in sources is good. It demands the best effort from the competitors and keeps things improving.

It appears this has cause a lot more movement than I thought. It all depends on how view the situation if your in it. However, I am willing to cancel for the sake of troubling someone so bad. As a source I have to be ready to be put under pressure everyday and Twice on Sunday, same goes if I’m pushed for deadlines to be meet, threats to be taken in, you name it. I’ve unfortunately intake it all while working under a deadline. It becomes of your environment to either survive or not. Sink or swim right. Im rambling again. To the point I’ll cancel this and use the $600 that I paid to Lab4tox on my own personal nonsense. Let me know

Combine electrical controls circuit boards along with mechanical outputs and commands, I can’t even explain it in words. Anyhow let me know if I should cancel this as a community I don’t want to start anything bad. I let this be discussed amongst everyone I’ll check back soon

I thought the comparison of labs was a great idea with the assumption that Jano is the standard the other labs were being compared to. It would be valuable to know if the other labs produce trustworthy results like Jano. Such a side by side comparison hasn't really been done, at least to this scale.
Of course, it could ruffle some feathers. If you feel it will backfire on you, no need to proceed. I don't think this needs to be your battle.

Not sure what situation you’re in Pench, but do what you think is best. If you decide to keep pushing it, I’d like to see at least testing from Jano and Analiza comparison and see the variances they show.

Set the community aside for a min, and decide if you'd want to see all of that info yourself. Do you want to no only verify your work, but also gain some insight as to who's testing protocols are consistent/accurate and who's aren't? I can't speak for anyone but me, but in your shoes I would want all the info I could get to better educate myself and my clients. If I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I can show what I'm doing is consistent, accurate, and repeatable, I can decide who my clients are (and how many), not the other way around.
Short version from a dude with a limited understanding of the landscape and industry: Fuck 'em. Either push to make things better for yourself and the folks you serve, or don't and just be another source. (apologies if that sounds harsh, no disrespect).
Not sure I understand the issue. I support the round robin testing of samples to see how other labs compare. I don’t see how it is bad for the community. It could be shocking if the other labs all agree with a certain value and Jano had given a different answer. Then it could cause a stir about if the gold standard is really the gold standard. But learning who could be an appropriate back up lab and provide a repeatable and reliable testing solution I don’t see as a bad thing

I believe in the free market and competition, so my position is multiple testing options is obviously better for the community. There should be plenty of room in that space for multiple labs to be very successful, I would question anyone who would try to stifle competition.
