An Individual Mans Brew Log (Castor propaganda) (and pleas for help/advice)

also, I made my new brew. I call it 2weeks for gains, its a PWO containing 30mgSdrol,70mg TNE and 1.5mg Exemestane per ml. I will pin it (.3-.4mls) at the end of this cut for, as the name says, 2 weeks on training days.

I luckily dont get crazy bad bloodwork off of 1-2 uses of sdrol at 10-12 mgs (a guy i know had liver enzymes in the 400s after taking 3 15mg sdrol tabs), so I will try this once i look crazy shredded, just to get a few good pics for instagram do all this influencing stuff etc. After the 2 weeks I will then stop, do a health phase, etc. (have never done a health phase because my bloods are impeccable, but after this I will definitely need it.
I was surprised at how well my liver values looked after 10 days of injectable sdrol. Didn’t get them done at the end lol but 10 days in ggt and everything else was in range

up the BA(3-4%), less BB(30%). its not 17alpha alkylated, you dont need that many solvents. especially when using 840. just keep it around 25-30mg/ml.
Thanks bro, gonna try that out this week. Also picked up some castor to play around with , never personally used it but looking forward to trying it out

make sure its at least 2x refined or better quality.
any less than that and you run risk of pooping yourself (idk if thats just when ingesting it, but I wouldnt risk it)
Thanks for the heads up brotha, my wife puts up with a lot but shitting my pants may be a deal breaker. That sdrol/TNE blend sounds pretty nice, do you think castor slows down the absorption on these esterless compounds ? Checking with ai it seems like it really only slows down absorption with longer esters.

it slows the absorption a bit, if you pin a full ml you should go about 2-3h pre lift, maybe a bit more, with warmed oil.

@IndividualMan my thumbs feel violated. Took me an hour to syringe filter 50ml of test cyp in castor. Ended up just using 3ml syringes because I kept blowing out my filter. Is there a minimum amount of bb needed to thin out castor ? Recipe was 1.5/25.
Heat the oil up big time and when it comes to these thicker solutions you need to buy the 33mm type filters. PTFE hydrophobic

The larger area Allows faster flow.

Your using a very small filter and it will be hell every time. I never filter castor based solutions unless it's 33mm size or bigger. Bigger the better actually. I can filter a castor based BB mix API mix with 90mm filter very quickly or at least triple the speed of a syringe. 33mm will be 2 x as fast for you with a caulking gun a a bit of heat.

Bad combo your using in my opinion. Get some 50ml syringes or 60ml. Caulk gun. Sterile 33mm PTFE syringe filters too.

Appreciate the info bro, ordering 33mm today. Always have used 25mm PTFE since I was just using MiG 840 and 812. Its funny I got a caulk gun but found it to be easier to just use 20mm syringes , definitely think the caulk gun is needed for castor tho lol

A lot of people are on the right track mixing oils is the right way to go you don't necessarily have to go 100% castor in your mixes. A lot of my mixes are actually a mix of MCT Mig 812 and Castor. You'll find a good ratio when you do a few experiments and I find just me personally I find around 40 to 60% castor with the rest being MCT and BB work very very well

Still viscous enough to get the slow release but not so viscous that your syringe filter is just clog up with all that backflow from the thicker oil

Plus if you heat it up to around 40 to 50 c the viscosity decrease is so low that is very similar to MCT oil

Anyways I would stock up on the 33 mm yes it's going to be wasteful for smaller amounts of oil but it's so dang fast it's really hard to go back and hold up volume is nothing you can easily recover whatever you lose from it if you even think about that

I personally have around 500 of them at any given one time I just don't really see myself going any smaller and 33 mm is a really good size

Also some people suggested using smaller syringes rather than the 60ml and I agree that technically is a way to basically get more pressure into the filter without having to necessarily use a caulking gun but I'm more in the line is I would prefer less refills unless open air contact as much as possible so that's why I prefer the larger syringes but that's just my logic

But yeah 33 mm get upgrade versus the 25

If you have trouble sourcing them and you live in America I can send you some I don't care I got so many and I have more on the way I just like to keep a big stock just in case they're hard to get

And I specifically source PTFE hydrophobic and in the body itself has a pre filter so they're pretty well done syringe filters just let me know if you need any help

812/castor blend is definitely gonna be in the future, really looking forward to finding what ratio works best for me. 60/40 sounds like a good place to start on the next brew, thanks bro !

thats how it goes. first time i felt every bone in my hand after filtering ~200mls tcyp220 in castor.
You feel it less as time goes on. also, heating it to around 50C helps a ton.

20ml syringes are a killer too. I moved to 10ML syringes, much easier to filter

Afaik, Castor has to either
1: be heated while filtering
2: have more BB to thin it, usually great for higher dosage blends. (think test D 550, Test C 300, though these do get thicker due to higher AAS content)
3 Be a MIG812/ castor blend

Ideally, for max comfort you do all 3.

any of these things make filtering more tolerable. I personally like it though, the high castor content makes it interesting for me/gives a reasonable amout of physical feedback, I usually filter while learning for Uni/ reading research papers. It does take hours for 200mls low BB/BA castor brews, but goddamn it keeps me in my seat learning.

Appreciate the info bro ! Brewing is quickly becoming one of the highlights of my weekend. I do need to lock in and keep it productive tho, usually I scroll the home brew forum and take notes but I’ve also found this time to be perfect for the annual rewatching of Dexter
