Low total testosterone (729) on 400mg/wk

Not sure why my total test numbers are so low.

I'm 45 years old.

Natural t level was 336ng/dL in July.

Now...

My total test was 729 on 400mg/wk of testosterone Decanoate (and 200mg primo, 200mg deca). I injected daily to avoid peaks and my blood was drawn about two hours after that days pin.

Bioavailable t is 611 and free t is 211.

SHBG is crashed at 4.

Estradiol was 27 with 200mg primo per week and no AI.

I feel good but why is my total so low compare to the other results I see people posting?

Sounds like your testosterone might be a little bit bunk, or severely underdose ,

I wish. I've tried testosterone from three different vendors and my total numbers stay low regardless.

Screenshot of total numbers below...

The first is natty (336).

Second, third and fourth results are on 300mg test cyp per week.

Last result is after switching to 400mg test d for several weeks. This is from a well known source and I have seen test results from this batch.

I know my SHBG is part of the issue but I didn't have the experience to know if it's the cause or a symptom.

Test D takes longer to reach saturation. You are clearing test c faster than the test D is ramping in. Also your shgb is crushed causing a lot of the test to goto free T and then getting cleared.

Agreed on the SHBG. I'm not sure why it's so low.

About the ester, I was on test d for at least a month before the most recent labs and the numbers weren't much different with test c. I don't think the actual oils I've injected are the problem.

Ok, you just said weeks so I figured 2 weeks. Primo might be the reason for low shgb.

Some people don’t put up big numbers. I am one as well. 320mg a week gets me to about 850. A clinic took almost a year to get me to that dose. I also have naturally low shgb.

If you are 100% it isn’t the gear, I would say the shgb in combination with how you clear/use testosterone is what is going on. But the only way to truly be 100% is to test it.

I didn't start primo until November and my SHBG was just as low before. I wish I had tested my natty SHBG levels but I didn't.

What are your bioavailable and free t numbers at 850 total?

I was definitely on more than test here. Off the top of my head, the February one was test and NPP and the other 2 were test EQ and Ment. Oh and I would bet a lot of money that I was using orals too.
