I don't care for this guy much. He's very narcissistic and listening to his rants are painful, BUT he is also very knowledgable. I've verified his comments about biochemistry / physiology myself and also had a friend of mine who's a doctor listen to him. He goes into a lot of detail here, but my main message to anyone on Reta, even and especially those of you using it for cutting, is to make sure you FEED it, especially carbs. I've been on reta for months, titrated up to 6 mg per week where i'm at now. The appetite suppression is largely gone, and that's a great thing. I'm at the lowest bodyweight i've been at in over 25 years, in the best condition of my life. But the real magic is this...I've increased my calories by nearly 1000 per day, largely from carbs, with an extra 30 - 50 g protein daily (compared to where I ended my cut), and not only is my weight not going up, it's not even staying put. I'm still dropping BF. My goal was to eat as much as I could and keep weight stable for 6 weeks or so prior to another cutting phase, but at 225 lbs I'm still dropping on 4300 calories daily. No change to output compared to the end of my cut.
Anyway, if you watch the video he talks about how carbs are a key catalyst for how reta works. I've tried small stints (like 3 hours before bed) of dropping carbs out, and all it does is make sleeping more difficult. I now eat carbs all the way up to bed, and sometimes my last meal of the day is very carb heavy, say 6 oz meat with 300-400 g rice. Helps me sleep and i wake up the same or lighter the next day.
Everything else has been the same for many weeks.
150 mast EOD
160 Test EOD
100 NPP EOD
5 iu GH ED
50 anadrol PWO 3-4 days per week
As you can see, trying to eat up on this cycle and still dropping BF is kind of cool. Have tons of fullness and great pumps in the gym. 20 - 30 mins fasted LISS daily and 7 - 11k steps. Train 5-6 days per week, a bit of volume but have lowered the intensity slightly.
