Hi everyone,

Obviously first-time poster here. I’m officially middle-aged at 41 and my joints are starting to send me the bill for a lifetime of sports.

I’m currently based in South East Asia, training 5-6 days a week with high-intensity functional workouts, mixed with mountain biking, road cycling and running. I’m currently battling persistent golfer’s and tennis elbow in both arms, plus some lingering patellofemoral issues from an ACL reconstruction over 20 years ago.

I’m here to dive deeper into the science of peptides—specifically looking at BPC-157 and TB-500 to help get my tendons back on track so I can keep training hard. I'm also interested in longevity and recovery protocols as I navigate the 40+ landscape.

I've been looking at the various sources mentioned here (QSC, Xingrui, etc.), but I'm looking to learn more about verifying batch quality and managing the logistics of getting high-quality raws into SE Asia safely.

Looking forward to contributing where I can and learning from the collective experience here.

Thank you all and happy to be here!

Well I can see the issue here is that your doing cardio instead of doing sets of 5 with hip drive.

Mark Rippetoe doesn't approve.

Jokes aside welcome to the forum.

Have you tried goats milk soap and getting more sleep? No? Yeah don't bother actually that shit doesn't work.

BPC157
TB500

Get blood panel
Get test on board with sports clinician / test Dr to get you in your happy place... Mines different than yours, you'll need to feel around.

Do back extensions and protect your spine

Enjoy feeling like your 25 again.

Welcome to getting older club...

First, learn how to test compounds (look up Janoshik). Never assume sources are safe and if they have a COA, print it, then wipe your ass with it. They are worthless because you dont know if thats what they gave you. No UGL should be trusted. They all make mistakes. Test everything.

Second, BPC/TB are good. There is also some evidence that Reta can help with knees (see phase 2 trials) and there are some healing properties to HGH and its secretogogues as long as you dont go bonkers and make things worse (which they absolutely can).

Third, if you want something potent then research DECA and NPP. Be warned, these are not to be messed with if you dont know what you are doing. These are steroids but that shit works very well on ligarments and tendons. You are a father so I assume you are responsible and wont just go pin stuff based on what someone says. Taking AAS requires planning. Lots of steps and preparation before you take your first stab.

thanks very much for this valuable information everyone
i plan to take things slowly, starting with BPC/TB before considering the more potent options since up to this point ive only ever taken shit you can buy from iherb...
will look into how to make testing work, thanks again all!

Heads up bro.

Tb500 won't work properly without a good igf1 level. So you'd probably wanna do a course of HGH before running it or its a waste.

BPC157 just helps with angiogenesis so don't run it long term. Somehow GHK-CU helps with this.

Nandrolone is a 19nor testosterone..nothing special just a part has been removed so it acts on the progesterone receptor. That makes it a progestin. Because of this it increases beta endorphins (rat model) and lowers dopamine (rat model). When you lower dopamine you increase prolactin. Hence the sexual side effects and weird mood disorders some people experience.

Anyway nandralone have been proven to help maintain muscle mass after shoulder surgery and reduce musculoskeletal pain.

But you'd need a testosterone base to use it. Something like 125mg-175mg testosterone enanthate plus 100mg nandrolone decanoate.

Best of luck. Now you might as well run tren (jokes).

But yeah this stuff doesn't work exactly like YouTube says.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown man. I appreciate the info on the synergy between TB and IGF-1 levels.

Since I’m a total noob at this, I’m definitely going to proceed with caution. I’m leaning toward the simple approach for now, sticking to the BPC/TB stack and maybe some CJC/Ipa to help with the GH/IGF-1.

I’m definitely not ready for the Nandrolone/Test jump yet; the '19-nor' side effects and the need for a Test base are a bit more than I want to manage for my first go-around. I’d rather see what kind of baseline results I can get with just the peptides before even considering the heavy hitters.

Appreciate you looking out for my best interests!

There are certain injections you can ask your doc for if you are in EU. they go directly into your joint every 6 months, its about 200EUR per joint (not cortisone. that stuff is not worth it IMO.). Works like a charm, but only if you have ground down the padding over the years. doesnt work for tendon issues.

Have fun learning and I hope you can fix your issues.

no serrapeptase does sound very interesting though, never came up on my radar before. Looks like it would definitely be worth a try. Thanks very much for the suggestion jan912
