Is the domain/site down for anyone else?

Looks hacked. I get a connection not secure message, and then if I click proceed anyways it redirects me to a bunch of spammy looking virus crap.

yup his site is taken over by scammers or something it seems like. Would be nice if Opti could comment as to what's going on right now.

I know a few people squeezed some orders in the other day. Hopefully their orders were in before the site got compromised.

The site was definitely having issues prior to that, TBD whether they were all connected or not. Slow loading, no order confirmations, server errors, etc. There was a member here that got written confirmation from opti that even though no email confirmations went out, his order was g2g.

I never received an order confirmation in my spam, but I emailed him and he said it was received. USPS shows label created.

Possibly a tactic by scammers to hold it hostage for the site owner to pay for it...basically a ransom. Just a guess, Im not an IT guy. Something similar happened to a family member of mine years back

Well with the Janoshik fiasco on data breach recently and the odd circumstances here, it really should show how vulnerable this business is on both ends. Emails, addresses, names, etc. When a website looks compromised, the head honcho needs to give us a status update. STAT!!

The domain for sale thing doesn't make sense. You can check the registration details at whois.domaintools.com. It doesn't expire for a long time, and its almost impossible to hack and transfer a domain to another account. What likely happened is the hacker messed with his WordPress install and put the parked domain page up on the site (oftentimes the default page for domains without sites hosted). Or hes just having technical issues.

Know what I’m not doing. Trying to open and navigate a potentially compromised website to play Dick Tracy (google it youngins) and come back in here to tell people the same thing 20 other people have already told us. Maybe if you’re out go buy from another source til stuff gets better. I’m not trying to shit on Optis thread but as a consumer how much more shit needs to shake out for everyone to take a step back and see how things transpire. I get it he has been solid but sometimes shit happens and time is your best friend.

I was a little worried tbh. Getting it early (usually 8 or so days) was nice. He's never not delivered my packs. I made a small order just in case. If the website gets worked out and he comes back online, I'll make a large order.

The website is obviously compromised in some way. Likely hacked by a competitor or someone looking to intercept payments. Come to think of it, every meso source with a website has had similar issues at one time or another in the past year. Hence why I don’t like using such websites.

Several customers who ordered have already received their packs, so the theory that “it was never Opti” is bogus. I think it’s safe to say off limits for now but as in the past I wouldn’t expect much of an explanation or comforting post from Opti.
