Ebola Monkey Man: Nigerian 419 Scam

You guys are killing me here. CenturionHRT is not a scam. Yes at this time you would need to talk to a representitive until the website is up and running. Even then its nice to be able to talk to someone who is on HRT. The rep will not be making any suggestions on what he should be prescribed. That is for him/her to discuss with the doctor.

Here's my problem with a company like this

1) I e-mailed them for info about the doctor - this is the response I got

Response to credential question I sent our doc is below. I believe he is also a licensed pediatrician.

I went to the university of Illinois medical school, mt. sinai for my residency training. I am a cosmetic surgeon with 10 years experience and 3-4 years experience with hrt. I am a member of the A4M and have treated thousands of patients with hormone deficiency. I only recently renewed my membership dues with the A4M so my info may or may not be listed on their website. If anyone ever wants to speak with me let me know and I'll call them.

C. Gonzalez, Jr., M.D. Sent from my iPhone

2) This company is like all of the other anti-aging/HRT clinics in Florida - they DO NOT require a physical meeting with the doctor

If you have skype the doctor would prefer a "face to face" consultation. If you don't have skype a consultation over the phone will work.

From their info packet

CenturionHRT

You will then receive a custom program outline for you along with a copy of your blood work and a quote to order your program. With your approval your needed medications will be ordered and to you within 48 hours .

Tell me why they're better than a company like Spectrum or anyone else out there?

Victor, not everyone has a problem with a phone consultation. I certainly do not. Skype is free BTW so anyone can download the program and be ready for a video conference within minutes.

I do not know enough about Spectrum to know why we are different, unlike you I dont like to badmouth anyone until i have the facts.

Whats wrong with the doctor's credentials?

What exactly can a doctor do differently in a face to face interview that he can not do with a Skype interview?

This is what i do know............Like i said previously CenturionHRT is going to make sure all medical prescriptions, and how to use them will be suggested by the Doctor.

If one of our clients is a member of this board, and any of you guys would care to make any recommendations on the protocol the doctor has chosen their is nothing wrong with that. Again those recommendations will go through the doctor, and he will make the final decision.

So I ask you Victor, what is the difference between CenturionHRT and any other Doctor that prescribes HRT? besides the face to face interview of course which i do not find to be that important.

A face to face interview is not that important!!!!! OMG

Florida Physician Licensure Regulation
64B8-9.014 Standards for Telemedicine Prescribing Practice.[Allopathic]

(1)Prescribing medications based solely on an electronic medical questionnaire constitutes the failure to practice medicine with that level of care, skill, and treatment which is recognized by reasonably prudent physicians as being acceptable under similar conditions and circumstances, as well as prescribing legend drugs other than in the course of a physician’s professional practice.

(2)Physicians and physician assistants shall not provide treatment recommendations, including issuing a prescription, via electronic or other means, unless the following elements have been met:

(a)A documented patient evaluation, including history and physical examination to establish the diagnosis for which any legend drug is prescribed.

(b)Discussion between the physician or the physician assistant and the patient regarding treatment options and the risks and benefits of treatment.

(c)Maintenance of contemporaneous medical records meeting the requirements of Rule 64B8-9.003, F.A.C.

(3)The provisions of this rule are not applicable in an emergency situation. For purposes of this rule an emergency situation means those situations in which the prescribing physician or physician assistant determines that the immediate administration of the medication is necessary for the proper treatment of the patient, and that it is not reasonably possible for the prescribing physician or physician assistant to comply with the provision of this rule prior to providing such prescription.

(4)The provisions of this rule shall not be construed to prohibit patient care in consultation with another physician who has an ongoing relationship with the patient, and who has agreed to supervise the patient’s treatment, including the use of any prescribed medications, nor on-call or cross-coverage situations in which the physician has access to patient records.

(5)For purposes of this rule, the term “telemedicine” shall include, but is not limited to, prescribing legend drugs to patients through thefollowing modes of communication:

(a)Internet;
(b)Telephone; and
(c)Facsimile.

And then have a phone consult with your doctor

How is that NOT in violation of the Florida telemedicine law?? this part especially

So, you are a representative for the company?

I am merely a messenger Dr. Scally. My job is simply to help the client through the process, kinda like the person at the front desk of any Doctor office. Its no secret that i do not have the knowledge of you and some of the other members of this great board. I am here to learn and would enjoy and appreciate any insight that you may have to offer.

In response to Victor:

I havent researched the laws enough to know the correct procedures, the owner of the comany has and im sure we are not doing anything illegal.

With that being said your post is very broad, can you explain in detail the difference between a face to face interview and a face to face Skype interview, in regards to the consultation of blood results?

Many of my local friends are on TRT, you should see what THEIR doctor tells them in a face to face interview.

BTW basically what im getting from this highlighted bold statement is: A doctor can not prescribe medication based soley on a electronic medical questionaire. Meaning they cant fill out a form, then have meds shipped to their house. In my interpretation it says nothing about not being able to prescribe medication once you have had a consultation with the doctor and he has evaluated your blood tests, correct me if im wrong.

I think the bump (a BIG bump) in the road is not the portion you include in your post, but the following requirements: (a)A documented patient evaluation, including history and physical examination to establish the diagnosis for which any legend drug is prescribed.

The physical examination needs to be done in person. And as I read this, the examination can not be that of another physician. Once this initial consultation is done, the issuance of prescriptions, labs, etc can be done for follow up (no office visit). Also, there better be good records for this follow up. If one is trying to slip through on some supposed and theoretical technicality, I doubt it will fly once in front of the Florida Board.

This also speaks to the so-called "patient." Do not believe for one second that you are protected from prosecution because there are "prescriptions." From what I am reading, this is a ploy to buy AAS and not treat a medical condition. From your posts, I think you also recognize the subterfuge. I believe, in time, this scam will be busted.

If TRT or HRT for males is involved, I believe that a DRE is appropriate. My first HRT doc and later a urologist evaluated each testicle. I am not sure how this is done any way without being in the physical presence of the examiner. Although on one of my last trips to Venice Beach, there was a person in a cardboard box willing to do DRE's for free! Maybe this was a medical assistant for an anti-aging clinic?

I can see a role for these "clinics" dispensing meds at a competitive price. A few years ago, HCG got scarce and then Armour thyroid was also. The scripts would come from a client's doc.

DOC I believe you are confusing my posts in another thread, about another HRT company. I have in no way ever lead anyone to believe that THIS company is a way to buy AAS illegally. I had heard at one time, that some HRT clinics were prescribing more than they were suppose to.

Im not interested in teaching people how to trick a doctor into prescribing them testosterone. I am only interested in helping people that either are already on TRT or qualify for a medication.

I personally know some guys that have to drive 4 hours for their checkup, that must be a pain in the neck. I guess the doctor in their area wont prescribe HRT for him. This would be a much less stressful way to get treatment..........

As for the other posts, the reason i left them out is because Victor made it seem like the bold was the important part.

as for the rest of your response, i will do some digging and clear this up, as i said before i assure you they are not doing anything illegal.

Doc i think you have misunderstood the standards of Standards for Telemedicine Prescribing Practice.

physicians issue patient prescriptions in compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration Federal Register Notices – 2001, Guidance. Dispensing and Purchasing Controlled Substances over the Internet. Source: [Federal Register: April 27, 2001 (Volume 66, Number 82)] [Notices] [Page 21181-21184] [DEA-191N]. physicians also issue prescriptions in consultation with examining primary care physicians in accordance with Florida Standards for Telemedicine Prescribing Practice, Florida Board of Medicine Rule 64B8-9.014 sections (4) and (5) under the specific authority of 458.309, 458.331 (1)(v) Florida Statutes. Law implemented 458.331(1)(q),(t),(v) Florida Statutes as new laws on September 14, 2003. Prescriptions are not issued to patients located in any state that requires the prescription to be issued by a physician located or licensed in the same state as the patient. In the case of our organization, we do not dispense over the internet and we do not prescribe over the internet or provide online prescriptions, but require a physical examination of each patient before issuing any prescription. Florida law allows one physician to conduct the physical examination and the second consulting physician to issue a prescription in reliance on the findings of the examining physician and medical history provided.

I also want to add that i think its terrible that you are willing to slam a practice without knowing for sure wether you are wrong or right. Saying that its a scam and that people should be worried about getting into trouble with the law, without knowing for sure. Purposely trying to tarnish someone's reputation without a VALID reason.

What you are quoting from is NOT the Florida statutes, but the company publication. See: https://www.flrules.org/gateway/Rul...OF PRACTICE FOR MEDICAL DOCTORS&ID=64B8-9.014

And if you read the rule, your interpretation is very far from the intent and meaning. Good luck trying to convince the Board or LE. LOL

In the case of an emergency, one can use the examination of another physician. I am not intimately familiar with FL law, but as I read it, the company is wrong. Also, I would read the dispensing requirements. From what I hear, there is a clear violation. And, not for a moment do I believe anything other than this is a SCAM and a very high likelihood of ILLEGAL. For you to opine otherwise indicates you are either naive, a fool, or a scammer.

TO REPEAT: And, not for a moment do I believe anything other than this is a SCAM and a very high likelihood of ILLEGAL. For you to opine otherwise indicates you are either naive, a fool, or a scammer. Your [in]ability to argue and use logic has already been demonstrated before on the Steroid Forum.
