Humana life group

My best friend. (The one who had "pinet buter" on his grocery list) could have balanced the budget in the 90s. We were inflating the bubble.

Clinton reaped the rewards of reaganomics...

That is one view, but does not hold up due to one fact: Reagan was the "biggest deficit creator" Of all modern peacetime presidents. Now his supporters may rightfully posit that he did end the cold war by forcing the USSR to try and match our increased military spending. Reagon does deserve at least some (IMO about 60-70%) credit, but we all know now that state controlled economic systems are doomed to failure. They are good at heavy industry and weapon production, but they fail 100% when it comes to providing goods and services.

The classic example was chandeliers. They could not decide what makes a good chandelier, finally settling on the position that a good chand. is judged by its weight. What resulted was thousands of ugly lead chand. stored in warehouses.

In a capitalistic society, how do we determine a good product? Simple, people buy it. An example would be this src I heard about called "BioLogic."[:o)]

Back to our presidents, Reagan, Bush Jr (senior actually was not as bad as everyone thinks) and Obama all spend or spent money like there was no tomorrow.

Yes, Clinton was lucky, but he was also a policy genius. He signed welfare reform into law, limiting a women to 2 years per child, 5 years max. It is widely regarded that this change (from AFDC to TANF) was successful. He did not get us into any unnecessary (and expensive) wars. Don't get me wrong, we had to fight Afghanistan as they attacked us. Ironic, since we, the US, taught the Taliban how to use modern weapons to defeat the USSR. However Iraq was an unwise decision.

Iran was and is a much greater danger than Iraq. Iraq acted as a buffer (Iraq and Iran fought a nasty little war....then dominated the special Olympics). Yes, Hussein was a horrible man, and hopefully is burning in hell right now, but no terrorist ever came out of Iraq. Hussein had absolutely no interest in funding terrorism, all he cared about was maintaining his power. Today, Iraq is a recruiting poster for terrorists.

You seem to always be writing lengthy off topic posts. Just an observation. You should start an we thread about antique chandeliers instead of doing it here.

How long ago? What did you try?

Beginning of the year, TE/OX....Shipping was fairly quick, communication was boring only because I ordered, they sent tracking, and it was delivered...Have not ordered since as I am waiting to do my cycles after this next weekend :D

What is " an we thread about antique chandeliers?" If you do not approve of a post, could you at least use the English language properly?

You post as if I started the OT comments, please read and try and understand what you are reading, especially the context.

When did I mention "antique chandeliers? The Chandeliers were ugly and made of lead. They were not antiques. Stretch and several other poster's claimed that our economic success's of the 1990's can be attributed to Reagan, which is not really true.

When they make OT posts it it is OK, but if I correct the misinformation and factual errors it is not OK:rolleyes: In the future could you at least try and grasp the meaning/context of a post before you criticize it?

You are aware of the fact fact that this thread started as a discussion of Humana, and then became a larger discussion about the emergence and decline of UGL's. If we apply your logic then this thread went OT 10 pages ago.

I am wading through page after page trying to find the src's contact info. Sorry if I correct misinformation along the way.

A bigger point, and it is ironic, is that I am trying to find how to purchase some of these $17 vials of test. I will trade that info for a promise not to post on this thread anymore.

Their email is in the 5th post on the first page.

Now keep your word buddy! :D

It's called a typo dumbass. It was supposed to read "a new". It wasn't that difficult to figure out. Also,You were talking politics and chandeliers. Neither of those topics are relevant to Humana.

Yes they were relevant, as several members were discussing the virtues/shortcoming of Reaganomics and Clinton. Please pay attention. The lesson of Soviet Chandeliers was that there is no way of determining if they are good, bereft the invisible hand of the market.

Now, in a capitalist society, how do we know that a product is good....come on now, think about it....drum roll, please...people buy the product. Businesses adapt and survive on their ability to provide customers quality products at a fair price. Back to Humana, you do understand that they are simply trying to make quality products at a price consumers will go for, yes?

Same thing about Biologic. They are doing the same, providing, IMO, high quality products at a price threshold that is low enough to get consumers to buy. They are a touch pricey, but I can testify as to their quality: Excellent.

Wow, did you actually have to go back and edit (and you spent quite a bit of time editing 3 lines, or otherwise there would not be an indicator that the post was edited in the first place?) Who is the, in your words, "Dumbass" now?

I am going to tell you about a little option called the "Preview Post" button. Check it out.

All right, Chase. I will go now.

Welcome to 2013 where we have autocorrect on cell phones. Talk about nit picking! Another fine example of staying on topic! Good job!

Don't be too upset with PC, he can't help it. He lacks the social skills that most people aquire before their 6th birthday. Just do what I do and tell him to go lick a hospital mop.

CBS
Carpet Muncher

Hospital mops are not half bad really...they have a slightly better taste then a hot mayonnaise, dirty ashtray sandwich...

Dirty ashtray..... I was at a party once, drunk and probably stoned, picked up what I thought was my beer but it turned out that it was a bottle someone was using for an ashtray.
Yuk.

At least it wasn't Stiffler's pale ale.
