That part about the sick moving that fast was dumb. If I could do that while well,Id be happy!
Im not sure these movies were made for some of us "older Cats" Youngsters seem to "suspend disbelief" better than we! Better than I,anyway! My kids sure dig 'em though!

It is my fault I had initially said I'd have it to him today..... and it wont be there till Monday, for that I'm not going to be bragging about. But Wednesday to Monday dealt with, does that seem like there's any time in there for me to even go days without communicating?

Last time I'll even think abkut or discuss that. I do hope in the end he is pleased with the replacement and that we can move forward and continue to see I will treat anyone and everyone right no matter how the situation is dealt with on their end.

Often some people get caught up in the "instant gratification" lifestyle especially as it applies to e-commerce. Some folks have gotten used to by today get tomorrow(plus they get to be all indignant and rude too!)
When most of us first began this it was like pay now,pray..wait..pray more..wait and then it arrives and if you dont like it.."OH WELL"! Im NOT knocking anyone but I DO remember waiting sometimes 3-4 weeks and THAT was considered both normal and "just the way it goes" We arent talking about buying tylenol here. These are powerful meds that the government has some misguided sense of"we gotta protect people from exercising their right to be free Americans!!) Makes my gut spin. If I wanna drink battery acid(i dont) thats MY BIZ. It just may not arrive til' day after tomorrow!HAHAHA!

Yeah, Goose, I remember when my first order of gear was delivered by carrier pigeon. My pack was missing half of the contents and that damned pigeon looked like a screaming chicken hawk as it soared down from the skies with my pack. I was just out of luck on the missing contents but I just sucked it up - no whining, no sending out smoke signals, no mean spirited messages in a bottle. These kids these days are spoiled;)

Same pigeon brought my pack but it kept half for itself. Like you I just said"oh well,at least I got SOME" no not happy but what was I to do? Talk shit? the next pack wouldve been expired by the time i got it and it may have only a 1/4 of gear! Thats why when I get my stuff,I test my blood a few weeks in and if #s are low..that tells me what I need to know.
Like a POW..I dont talk and/or cry for as long as possible!
My children try this crap after a week with mom..takes me days to "re-integrate them" or even say "thanks" for leaving school early, driving almost 100 miles to get em to soccer on time,etc! I do this by example. I say "thank you","please",etc and it WORKS, cause I just CANNOT spank themI i guess im an easy-touch). I will put em in the "time-out room" NO computer,stereo,tv,phone..just 4 white-painted walls and a chair!!!!
My dad(incredible man..but he had HIS WAY of dealing with "back-talk"(thats how i learned to fly..HAHA)shit-talk,shit-talk..BAM! "Uh Detroit tower..one smart-mouth kid requesting permission to take off from runway 101!!!!" He taught me the value of a "yes sir,no ma'am!" and the consequence of being a wise-ass! Plus mom(God rest her!) had this "hair-brush" trick..nuff said HAHA!:)

Hey I noticed your location says"Chicago-ish"

First time I EVER encountered wind coming off the lake in winter I was like 9 years old. Despite the intense cold,I thought I was in hell.

But my mom took me to the Museum of science and Industry(they actually have an intact WWII German submarine,the U-505),The zoo,the Natural History Museum,Adler Planetarium(spelling?) and my all-time favorite..the Shedd Aquarium! Oh and her favorite the Art Museum!!

Man that town has it all! would like to go back for a week and hit those museums with the kids. NO WAY to not be impressed!

God is it cold though and blazing hot in summer huh?
