Well shit, when time is DEVOTED to such divisive garbage, especially as a MANDATORY SCHOLASTIC REQUIREMENT, MUCH less time is available to study OBJECTIVE SUBJECTS.

Ironically although governmental educational expenditures have increased EVERY damn year (to keep up with inflation, lol) the same has NOT occurred with student achievement and/or competency scores!
Nope, excluding a few periodic improvements often used by educational pundits, they have remained STAGNANT for some 50 years.
You make some good points. I'm certainly not an expert in education or the school system. I disliked school. No, strike that - I absolutely detested it - from the very first day of the very first grade.
That said, this social agenda is killing the educational system. Schools spend too much time teaching nonsense at the expence of math and science. Kids are graduating from high school without understanding basic algebra. I've seen firsthand what happens when they get to college - disaster. Their profs have to waste the first few weeks teaching the algebra they should have mastered by the 10th grade, because they need it for their classes.

Why is it that people stop believing in Santa and the Easter bunny but continue with this "God" thing? I dont think this religion thing is going away anytime soon. So here is maybe a good best worst argument for Christianity. If you live in the USA. There are many religions, but the one that most likely replace Christianity is the one that will cut off your head if you dont convert. In your case, convincingly act as though you believe or suffer and die.
Get rid of Christianity and the void will be filled. Maybe better to have a religion that allows you to peacefully not believe.
