Why there almost certainly is No God!!

The unloved old usually drown the sorry in toddies......Excuse me, Ive got to go top off my drink.
It is sad to see someone old and alone in that way. They begin to live kinda in the moment. Enjoying a decent conversation or laugh with a stranger. No longer expecting anything real from life. Bad choice's are (usually) the cause.

Most old people who FEEL unloved are the disillusioned. Life on earth can be wonderful or beautiful or sad and lonely. That is the choice God has given us. If....we made "Bad choice's", we usually pay for that choice through some kind of a negative consequence.

God, does not make bad choices and he never makes a mistake, but God gave us choices and that is where the rub is...If your life is wrapped up in your job, when that job ends, you will be "sad"...If you believe in God, your job is your job and the loss of it requires an adjustment. Not necessarily a "sad" aspect in your life. I know it is hard to comprehend for the unbelieving, but a true faith or trust in God will remove the sadness. The true believer knows what comes next and it is so much more than a 'Dirt Nap' as many describe it.

The bottom line is...God has given us so much more out of LOVE. We get to choose whether we want to be sad or happy. It is not our marriage, it is not our job, it is not our children, it is not our wealth of things or money. It is our relationship with God, our Creator. When all of the aforementioned are either, "Not Enough" or they are "Gone", we will be "sad", without that relationship with our Creator.

There have been a lot of posts in this thread about "Religion/s". Religion has nothing to do with our relationship with God. Most religions perpetuate mans ego in one form or another. That is a lot different than the "Church". - The Church that God refers to is the church in Christ. Not the "Church of Christ"

God only wanted an intimate relationship with Man, His Creation, so he came to earth in the form of Man (Jesus Christ), died for our sins and gave us the certainty of 'Life after Death' through His resurrection from death.

Christ did not come to earth as a Baptist, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Catholic...Well you get the idea. He came to earth as a Man, a man like us, to pay the price for mans (our) sin, so that Man (We) could have the relationship with God that God intended for us in the first place. So forget about all your distaste with religion, the money grubbers, the holy rollers etc., and get back to the simplicity of your relationship with God. All of the facts about this can be found in the 66 books of the "Word of God", that He inspired Man to write down for us so we would not only know how to act, but have reason to act...Yes, the 66 books are a manual..."How To Have a Relationship With God"

No...when you are young or old and your job is gone, or your wife has passed or your children are gone, you don't have to be "Sad" or "Alone". Read the manual, forget about "religion" and get in touch with God. I know already what some of you are thinking. For everyone that says "I don't believe in God". He, God, believes in you!

You have a good point about geography, but it is a little more complicated for me since I am not a Bible Scholar. The geography has a lot to do with the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel. These were God's chosen people and this is where it started. I would have to go back and study the 2 books Genesis and Exodus along with some scholarly commentary, but from what I recall the original group of people (Jewish) that came out of Egypt and were led to the "Promised Land" (Israel), were distinguished by God into 12 Tribes each serving a different purpose in Gods plan. Those 12 tribes became separate entities eventually and were not of one accord, under God. Hence we have different country's and nations. This does not mean we can't come back together and be unified under Gods plan. It just is unlikely to happen if - 1. You think you are God. 2. If you think you can be as great as God (What went wrong in the 'Garden of Eden'). 3. If you don't believe there is a God. And last but not least...4. "Have other gods before you". Mohammad, Abdullah, your BMW or your money.

I believe that there is one God. He may be your "Personal god", but you get to choose. I don't believe there are a lot of different deity's known as God that you can make your personal god. I see those...even if you worship them, as intellectual gods. The one true God that I believe in, is THE GOD. In fact He referred to Himself as I AM!

The God of Creation, The God of the earth, the God of all Countries. Even Iran, believe it or not. And your God and my God, whether you accept Him or not.

It does not make much difference about geography. The big difference is what is going on in your soul, your heart that gives you the connection to the One God and not what part of the earth you live in. I believe, regardless of where you live or how you were raised or what you believe, as far as the one true God...that everyone is given the opportunity to find a relationship with Him that is meaningful and spiritual.

The problem with not accepting God as your God, will be your loss, for as long as you deny Him the relationship He so desires with His Creation-You! And...then when you die...it is too late.

Strong brave people, but still worship.
Most non believers seem to be somewhat of a weaker breed.
Maybe thats the reason God favors the brave. Jus sayin.

I believe that a god or gods exist, Just not any of those from any religions. Most religions changed over time. For example Jesus was added to the Hindu religion once the church has become prominent any many who were Hindu began to convert. Hindus don't eat beef not because god had forbid it but because of the cattle shortage that took place. Christianity is almost 90% copied from the pagan religion, hell even Christmas and Easter are both pagan "holidays". Now there are those who believe, although its not yet 100% confirmed, that the Islamic religion was based of the Egyptians. So, its not so much that god doesn't exist, its simply that the idea of the gods we think of are simply creations of our ancestors. I personally do not believe in any religion after the Egyptians. For those who wish to reply to this post negatively I did major in theology - the study of religion, and feel free to look this up yourself as the information is now freely available on the web.

I don't know about "sad"... Perhaps APATHETIC with UNDERSTANDING in acknowledgement of the finer virtues in life...? And further with the KNOWLEDGE of his existence as RELATIVE to yours/ours even..? "Sad" is synonymous with SORROW. There are many men alive and his age which STILL have things worse - Which would be to AT MOST be his Age, and AT LEAST have ANYTHING LESS than he retains in attention and real world possessions. Do you really feel SAD for him? He is mixing the same Toddy we are. The only difference is the UMBRELLA which he floats in his. The RELATIVE DIFFERENCE being that HIS IS POURED by his own bonds which he created, and thus while he can AFFORD to WASTE Walker Blue Label down the sink when not in the mood to finish his glass, he can not even INCUR THE EXPENSE of drinking one for fear of loosing his remaining waist line OR Risk diminishing his cardiovascular function - which remains CRITICAL to his ability to GET HIS DICK HARD to retain the Price he Pays for his STOCK as vested... Love COSTS more that all the money he ha$, and yet it CAN BE Free..

His SACRIFICE is OUR GAIN. We should all live with respect for every day. As we just don't know if there is anything else to come and tomorrow may be our last. I DO like the science where they maybe write a note on the top of a light in an OR and a patient who dies and comes back can tell you what it says after "floating round the room" for a while.. You have to wonder if this happens. Come to think I am going to inquire to medical channels which might have insight as proof. The funny thing though is that it only seems to work on a "Micro-economic Level". Once you SEPARATE folks with TOO MUCH air, water, land, and FIRE - then RELIGION THEN SEEMS TO FUEL FIRES..! All good points and a lot of points in there on many different aspects of reality.Religion does work in controlling man and giving man boundaries.And I would have to say its because we are born into a systematic grid of control from day 1....try building a spaceship and leaving earth you will be shot out of the sky quicklike..how free are we really?Fear is a fuel but not a energy we should have as a species and I just think its wrong and on the most part what destroys us physically(this has been proven )and mentally ofcourse.But it does roundem up and heard them in.I like the concept you mentioned about us possillbly bending space time right here every day in our heads as a way to perceive reality.I mean you have all the different versions of zeropoint as in time being one and already happened at once....
