So the procedure for making BAC water would be something like this?

Step 1) Buy, say, 500ml of Sterile water and a small quantity of 99.95+% pure BA
Step 2) Add 0.908ml of BA to each 100ml of sterile water
Step 3) Swirl it around a bit (beneficial to warm it up to ~40 degree Celsius perhaps?)
Step 4) Withdraw the created BAC water with big ass syringe
Step 5) Attach a sterile 33mm hydrophilic 0.22 micron PTFE filter to the syringe, followed by a needle.
Step 6) Filter and inject the BAC water into empty, sterile, sealed vials.
Step 7) Profit

Well one can argue that If you buy distilled water and make it sterile (that doesn't mean pyrogenic free as you well said) with a .22um filter it should be probably very ok and not contain endotoxins at any dangerous level.

But yes it's best to use non pyrogenic water aka sterile water for injection

The main reason you want endotoxin (pyrogen) free water for peptides isn't because there will be such a high level it'll cause illness.

The immune system will respond rapidly to endotoxin injected subcutaneously, the location where the body has the strongest immune defenses, and destroy it before any symptoms develop.

But this is precisely the problem. The last thing you want to do when injecting a peptide is to draw the immune system's attention to the area, because immunogenicity to the peptide will be much worse.

Many vaccines, where you want the strongest immune system response possible, include "contaminants" specifically to draw the immune system to the area so a stronger immunity develops to the vaccine proteins being injected.

Obviously, we don't want immunity to develop to the peptides being used.

Between the two types (hydrophobic, hydrophilic):

For water based, like peptides, for sure PES hydrophilic, so the water is filtered through the filter membrane.

For AAS oils, on paper, either seems to supply the right filtering since there is no water. However, from what I gathered, hydrophobic is better for air & gases. Although, whatever small amount of water is in BA, it's brewed/mixed into the oil. Is there still any there? I don't know, I'm not a chemist. If there is, hydrophilic will filter it along with the oil, where hydrophobic will keep it out of the entire oil. Does it need to stay in with the oil? IDK. When researching, I found that the most suitable for AAS oils was hydrophilic. Now, @Sampei just put a wrench in that, lol.

To make a long post short, I think eother will do, unless there is evidence to the contrary.

What's the point of filtering sterile water for injection? It's already sterile non pyrogenic.

How to make BAC water and FFS save it and repost it every time someone ask.

1) buy sterile non pyrogenic water (called usually: sterile water for injection)

2) buy sterile vials (50/100ml preferably)

3) buy 99+% USP/Ph.eur/BP - benzyl alchol

4) buy PTFE hydrophilic .22um 33/25mm syringe filter

5) grab one sterile vial, filter inside the sterile vial 50/100ml of BA.
Now you have filtered BA.

6) take another empty sterile vial. Inject inside 99.1ml of the sterile water and add 0.9ml. of BA.

You have now: 100ml of 0.9% BAC water

For who is buying glass jug of sterile water for injection you can use that one as the container for the BAC.

So again: draw from the jug 0.9% of its content and substitute it with 0.9% of filtered BA.

Enjoy your BAC water

I've shifted my ideal somewhat for oils. .22um into a vial FDA certified free of particulates, then a vented spike to prevent coring. Filtered would be preferable, but I think an unfiltered spike would be acceptable.

For peptides, personally, for me I'm shifting to per dose filtration. After reconstitution, pull the entire vial into a 3ml syringe. Attach 13 or 25mm filter, attach needle, each dose is backfilled into an insulin syringe as needed. I store the…

So this is what i was thinking i would start doing with my peps and hgh after reading something on here a couple of weeks ago. I guess the only question i have about this is how you mitigate against contamination with the needle used to backfill. Peps l use like tirz are sitting reconned for a month so if I’m storing that in syringe the only point of weakness i see is the needle that gets used over and over for backfill. I realize you put the plastic cover back over it but seems like there is potential for internal bacteria growth which is on backside of filter. Are you wiping it with alcohol swab or something. Maybe I’m over thinking this…

Search for luer lock sterile caps. Back fill, put cap.

Better yet invest on an insulin pen with a few empty insulin vials and just change tips

Juat as a "Public Service Announcement" for Re-filtering:

AAS Oils:
1. For completely re-filtering oils, ideally: Sterile .22um PTFE 33mm hydrophilic syringe filter. 33mm will allow filtering up to 50ml... 25mm will allow filtering up to 20ml, still difficult to find, but available. 13mm, up to 10ml, a little easier to find.

Are those limits the same for nylon?

Just to be clear on syringe filters since i think i got a little confused on some of the bac water comments.

For Oils : Sterile 22um 33mm PTFE. Can be either hydropobic or Hydrophilic

For hgh/peps: Sterile 22um 13mm PES Hydrophilic

229746 - Sterile PES 22um 13mm

229757 - Sterile PTFE 22um 30mm

I ordered the smallest qty they are sold in, which is 30 of the large filter and 75 of the smaller filter and it was around $90 shipped, not too bad at all

I'm not 100% sure about Nylon's "compatibility" with all AAS oils. It looks like it may be. However, PTFE is compatible with just about every chemical, much more than Nylon. Pricing looks about the same. Why not just make it easy and go with the PTFE?

Their PTFE filters are great! Oils heated up to 125f flow out soooooo smooth and quick its great for refiltering!

@Sampei what’s your overall impression of the Fresenius spikes? Any issues with the hub cracking on these? I was not impressed with the previous version of the Mini Spike.

Hub is cracking easily and the filter get fucked from high level of BB.

I have stopped using spikes and I'm now using filtered needles.

Spikes only for the BAC water jug.
