Skin Rash / infection (2x in 3 weeks) (pic)

Hey guys,

About 3 weeks ago, I got a skin rash / infection on my right arm that got to be about 2 x 3 inches big. I had higher than normal temperatures (like 99 degrees) and felt run down.

I did some research online and the consensus was get on antibiotics asap.

I saw a nurse practitioner and she put me on a 7 week pill antibiotic cycle which I completed.

3 weeks later, I inject again and about 2 days later I get another weird skin reaction.
This time its a bit bigger (3 x 2 inches) and is tender to the touch. I also feel a bit run down with a temperature of 99 degrees.

I know many people will say head to the doctor but this last antibiotic cycled destroyed my stomach.

For those of you that don't know, anti-biotics kill your gut flora and destroy your stomach.

Effects of antibiotics on gut flora analyzed

I want to avoid the antiobiotic route but I don't have enough experience (just 9 months on TRT - UGL brand) to know if this is a concern or what.

I spoke to a local vet and he told me don't worry only worry if it spreads over the next day or 2 and also get rid of the bottle since its 2x in 3 weeks that this happened.

I am very sanitary and wash my hands and shower before injection, I avoid acne when injecting, I use alcohol on skin and bottle although every now and then I forget to swipe the bottle.

I have attached the pic.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What are you running ? I'd agree if your 2 for 2 with bad reactions, toss it.

Have you injected in two different locations?

For what it is worth I posted a thread on here with a pick of my leg, my leg pic is several days after pinning but looked just like your arm. I also thought it was infected and got on antibiotics from the doc. But every time I gave myself a shot I got red area, severe PIP to the point of barely being able to walk, and ran low grade fevers the first day.

I was running Sust 250 for 5 weeks and every shot did this. I stopped running it two weeks ago and have some new gear I am going to try next week.

IMO i wouldn't pin again with it. I am thinking I am allergic to something in the gear. Ethyl Oleate or some crap possibly?

I dunno. I will probably try and cut it with some grapeseed oil after this other gear has been run just to see, as I was getting some decent sides like it was real.

It looks like cellulitis to me and cellulitis usually requires antibiotics.

Your guy can't be readily recolonized with yogurt containing lactobacillus!

Update:

Day went by ok. No fevers or chills like the last time. I outlined the redness with a black marker.

If it does not go beyond the black lines and recedes can I skip the antibiotics ?
Not trying to push to the edge but I have no symptoms aside from this red thing that from this point forward I will measure ?

@johnnyBallz - Not really and if it is its hard to tell

@pittbox - Yeah man.. this definitely changed my habits permanently

@Scubajack - Dunno man been running this same Test brand for a while with no issues so I don't think its an allergy.

@Dr Jim - I picked up a script for antibiotics doc and I did drink kefir yogurt and greek yogurt during and after last time this happened. I really try and avoid antibiotics at all costs as I know people abuse it all the time.
