135 lb bench press competition, supplement giveaway

Damn let's raise the bar a bit. 135? My wife can do that. I think it's a freaking crime that the nfl still uses 225 at the combine when the linemen weigh over 300. By the way, i am not saying i would win a meso 315 rep-fest at all, but it would be less Richard Simmons and more Ed Coan.

He actually raised it to 225 on page 2 after a lot of us said similar things.
 
Well, I'm disappointed with this, but I'm a man of my word, so here's my video. In my defense I'm cutting and I'm down about nine pounds since last month. I did bench yesterday, too. Here's me with 23 reps.



Didn't think to say the date, but I'm not expecting to take this with only 23 reps. If by some crazy chance I do I guess I'll just film another set with the date included.
 
I'm in but I'll be a late entry probably do it on the 27th as I just did 1rm the other day and my elbows in pain.... You guys can see my mesily 10-13 reps.... Although if this isn't a tested contest I may "cheat and use some TNE and halo and preworkout and keep a defibrillator near by for looks... Anyways ya I'll make my best effort to do this Saturday and post it up.

I got 16 a few weeks ago...and they didn't look that easy!!! My problem is getting someone to record it. I don't talk or like anyone in my gym. How do you guys set your phone up?? Some kinda special stand?? I'll embarrass myself Sunday....maybe. :p

I lay my phone against my water bottle.... Or if I need it higher I'll put my water bottle on a bench and lay my phone against it lol

I usually pull a block or something over and time delay record so I have time to set up. Then I edit afterwards. And yes, people do look at you funny*. But no one has ever said anything.

*I record myself a lot when doing DLs and a few other movements so I can see my form, etc. Its become normal for me.

For my camera I was using the Tupperware container I keep my chalk in and an old hair tie I keep my knee wraps rolled with. I used the hair tie to keep the phone up on top of the container. It snapped the other day though, this video I just stuck it vertical in a ten pound plate. My gym has the ones with handle holes built into them.
 
I think we should also throw into the competition that they must have a attractive female as the spotter seeing as the videos are long and it would be nice to look at (@Perrin Aybara is excluded because he already made one)

Thats an auto loss for me. Where Im at now there is like a 50:1 penis to vag ratio. And the few females arent what youd want. You guys not seeing the females is my gift to you.
 
I tried that "priming the CNS" thing with a couple heavy singles before my set. I did bar x15, 135x10, 225x3, 225x3, 275x1, 295x1 and then 225x23. Don't know how much it works, but it does feel lighter after the singles and they weren't heavy enough to cause any real fatigue.

Im planning on doing nearly the same thing. Today is my usual heavy bench day, so Ill go up and then try the 225 after. Ive found it makes the weight feel a little lighter. (Plus im only doing triples on the way up, so hopefully fatigue wont be a problem)

When I got it for 24 a few weeks back I just did 5x5 at 225 first and the sixth was an AMRAP. I was heavier myself and fresh off a higher test dose then.

I think if I trained some higher reps for a few weeks I could do better on this. It's weird because it doesn't feel heavy until like 15 or so and then on 24 I just barely got it on that lower rack. I guess I'm just not accustomed to failure at all. I hadn't failed a bench rep since last summer if I remember correctly.
