1cc syringe with removable needle...for those who want it

If it's ok with the admins, I will post a link to a place that sells 1cc needles with a removable needle. I had been after this for some time because I felt that drawing 1/2cc (100mg) of Test Cyp in a 3cc syringe was hard for me to it very consistently.

With a 1 cc syringe, it is super easy to nail the 1/2cc mark perfectly every time. I'm using a 1.5" 20g needle to draw and a 1" 23g needle to inject.
I am really happy with this setup! Most 1cc syringes usaully have a 27g or 29g needle that is not removable.

Dunno, straight from pharmacy. They are BD brand.

A Leur Lock type needle has a needle that "threads" on...it is virtually impossible for the needle to come off.

A Leur Slip type needle slips over the syringe. With excessive force, I can see how it would be possible to blow the needle off of the syringe and make a mess. I think this is Swale's concern.

The 1cc needles that I have are slip-style. If you know of a source of 1cc needle with a lock type arrangement, let us know!

I get my Test Cyp in 1cc vials since my ins will not pay for the 10cc vial. I like the 1cc syringe because it allows greater accuracy and ensures that I won't draw too much on the first use and have too little for the second use. Each 1cc vial is good for 2 doses for me. :)
