1st Cycle Log. Sust only.

The day has arrived. It is day one of my 10 week 600mgs/wk cycle and I am fucking ready to go.

Pinned about 30 minutes ago in my left ventro glute, and it was as good as could be expected for a first pin. I did move away from my hand the first couple shots at it (pun intended), but just nutted up and slid it in. No pain, no problem. The only question I have about the whole thing is how much air can I safely shoot with 1ml of sust? Because when I tried to expunge the remaining air in the syringe after drawing 1ml I saw little droplets of my precious oil drip down the needle. I did not like seeing my sust just leak out of the needle, granted it was a miniscule amount, nonetheless, I would rather not waste any. So is it cool to leave a small amount of air in the syringe before I pin?

Alright so, current stats: 6'2" 220lbs approx 15%bf

Goals from this cycle: 6'9" 290lbs 5%bf


Just fucking around, I'd like to put on about 25-30 pounds and maintain current bf. When I cut down after this cycle I'd like to hit about 8%bf at my current weight of 220. Should be feasible.

Air in the needle is only of huge concern when giving an Intravenous injection. A little air in the syringe is not going to hurt anything. Besides, you should be aspirating before injection, which pulls air into the syringe anyways.

I don't think you should be "just fucking around" with AAS. What people need to understand is that you need to fully take advantage of the help you're being given. Steroids is not a ticket to be lazy or work less hard in the gym. Use that shit to it's full advantage, let it be you motivation! Work to exceed your goals and challenge yourself daily. If this doesn't sound like something your interested in, then you probably shouldn't be interested in steroids.

I hear you loud and clear getsome, the fucking around thing was more me making fun of the retards out there that expect unrealistic things from steroids and like you said, think that it is a ticket to be lazy in the gym.
I am far from lazy, and more than dedicated and motivated. Another post on here somewhere said that steroids should be a compliment to a lifelong way of life, not just your only motivation for working out. As you'll see here shortly from my before pics, I am not huge, but I have put in a ton of hard work and educated supplement and diet regimens to get to where I am naturally.
Thanks for the advice on the air bubbles too, and yes, I did aspirate.

Keep in mind on these pictures, I do squat heavy, I just have genetically tiny legs. :D

Ah, your legs aren't that small man. And you have wide shoulders like me, that's always a good thing to work with. I have big legs because my torso is extra long compared to my lower body. My arms are also long, which makes them harder to fill out and push a lot of weight on flat bench. But, I make out ok.

Looks like you've got some good stuff to work with, just be smart and keep us updated man.

Got some good pics bro, can't wait to see your progress through the cycle. Take some pictures every 4 weeks for us, and keep your stats updated. Maybe get your body fat tested today too so you can see how muc fat to muscle ratio will be at the end of the cycle.

On another note, when pinning, I get all the air out of the syring, and the slowly bring the plunger up and just let a drop of oil run down the pin, makes for a really nice easy pin, and a drop of gear is nothing to worry about.

Also few little air bubbles won't do anything to muscle, don't forget when you aspirate, you pull some air from the muscle into the syringe anyways.
 
Day 2- Obviously not much to log other than the fact that my left ventro glute has absolutely no soreness whatsoever. Couldn' t have gone any better. I hope every pin goes this way.

Hit the gym pretty hard, but concentrated on not psyching myself into thinking the juice was working already. Don't want to be a placebo effect victim.

Started really amping up my caloric intake, all clean.

Can't wait for weeks 3-10.
 
Day 3, FUCK! I want to pin again! I want to hurry up and get the gear flowing. Is this what its going to feel like when I'm done with PCT? Is this the psychological addiction everyone talks about? Oh well, patience is a virtue. But tomorrow,ahhhhhhhh, tomorrow I pin.:D
 
Day 4- Pinned this morning in my left glute and it was not quite as smooth as the ventro shot. The needle went in really smooth but once it was in the fun started. First, I had to actually keep some force on it to keep it from pushing right back out. I figured it was because I was accidentally flexing but I was totally relaxed. No big deal, just kept the slight pressure on it to keep it in. Then I tried to aspirate, but I haven't quite mastered one-handed apiration so I started to reach across with my right hand. Hahaha, yeah right, I'm not muscle-bound at all but I damn sure can't reach my left glute with my right hand. So now I'm all contorted and concentrating on apirating with one hand and I catch a cramp in my left oblique. I was like, "FUCK this." and just pushed the plunger. (right before I caught the cramp I did see a small air bubble so it was not in a vein). Now I have a really minor charley-horse, not at all like renegade is enduring with his quad shot, but just a little uncomfortable.

As far as feeling any effects, like I said, I'm waiting for legitimate proof so I don't fall for the placebo effect. But, I do think I have just a bit of water retention, as I have cut out the vast majority of my sodium intake and still look like I'm loaded with creatine. Nothing in the face, just full bodied muscles and a few less cuts.

Question of the day. Since I'm only pinning on Mon and Thurs, can I just alternate between ventro glutes or should I stick to four different injection sites?

Appetite is starting to kick into gear. Ass is still a little sore but not too bad. Still need to know if I can just hit the ventro glutes solely. It would mean that each side would get one pin per week. It was much easier to hit the VGs than the glutes themselves.

Diet and workouts are on par, although I haven't really amped up the workouts yet because of the slightly slower-acting esthers in sust. As soon as it really starts to kick in I will kick the intensity up to the ceiling, hopefully around day 14-20ish.

Keep on following guys, I hope to be an example of a first-cycle gone right. Combine proper diet, workout, sleep, and supplements with a low dose semi-short cycle of sustanon only, and who knows what progress might be made. We'll find out....

You should start to feel it after 4-5 weeks. Sometimes even 6 (as it happened with me with test e).

There's no problem in alternating ventro glutes but i prefer shoulders for injections of the 1ml class. It just feels more comfortable.
 
Rest day today, last day of week two. Here's a recap;

1. 1st pin in left ventro glute......flawless.
2. 2nd pin in left glute.......awkward but successful.
3. 3rd pin in right ventro glute.......no problem.
4. 4th pin in right delt.......painful pin and sore for two days.

As far as diet, I have jumped from about 3800 calories per day pre-cycle to about 5200-5500 calories per day for the last two weeks. I'll add another 1500 calories per day when the sust really starts to kick in, probably in about 10-14 days.

Workouts have increased in intensity and volume, and I don't feel like I'm on the brink of overtraining. In the past, the workload I have put my body through would be breaking me down by this point, but I guess the short esthers in sust have been doing their job because I feel like I am recovering much better. (part of this may also be the increased calories and supplementation.)

Speaking of supplementation, a typical day looks like this:

11 am - wakeup and take 60 grams hydrolyzed whey.
11:15 am - eat 500 calories of oatmeal, plain. Banana and glass of V-8 low sodium.
Noon - 2 scoops Jack3d.
12:30 pm - 5 grams BCAAs and 5 grams glutamine.
12:45 - gym
2:15ish - 60 grams hydrolyzed whey with 100 grams of ON Waxy Maize.
2:45 - meal with 30-40 grams protein, 60-80 grams carbs, 8-15 grams good fats.
3:00 - another shake with 30 grams hydro-whey and 5 grams BCAAs and 10 grams glutamine.
4:30 - meal with 30-40 grams protein, 30-40 grams carbs, minimal fats.
6:00 - 5 grams BCAAs and 10 grams glutamine.
8:00 - meal with 50-60 grams protein, 70-80 grams carbs, and 10-15 grams good fats.
9:30 - 5 grams BCAAs and 5 grams glutamine.
11:00 - 60 grams hydro-whey.
1 am - meal with 40-50 grams protein, minimal carbs, 10-15 grams good fats.
2:45 am - 48 grams casein protein.

Also take multivitamins, fish oil, milk thistle, stinging nettle, and zma. Drink a minimum of a gallon of water per day.

My body has been responding to something, although I'm not quite ready to give the sust the credit yet. I am up to 230 lbs and my pumps get fuller and last longer. I feel full and hard all day long. But like I said, I think a lot of this can be contributed to the increased calories, especially the carbs, oh, and the carbs are almost all complex. Strength-wise I haven't seen much, but then again, I'm only upping my volume at the gym, not trying to go too big too soon.

All in all, I feel good about my diet and workouts, and I am content to wait for the sust to do its thing. How's the saying go?.....all good muscles come to those who wait? or something like that.[:o)]
 
Day 15 -

Shot my left VG this morning. Damn this is my favorite spot by far, so smooth and easy and painless.

No aggression, slight increase in sex drive, pumps are fuller and tighter, muscles are harder all the time, face gets oily earlier in the day, recovering faster, feeling great.

On a side note, I have only pinned 5 times and my first vial is almost 2/3 gone. The math says it should only be half gone. So, because I know that I have precisely shot 1ml each time, it means that my Innovex Sustanon 300 was shortchanged about 2-3 ml. Besides the money lost, I now have to reconsider how to dose what I have left. There are a few options:

Option 1 - Continue 300mg twice per week and run an 8 week cycle.

Option 2 - Reduce to 250mg twice per week and run a 10 week cycle.

Option 3 - Spend another $100 for another vial, and continue 300mg 2X/week for 13 weeks.

Option 4 - Buy the third vial and increase dosage weeks 5-11ish to keep the cycle short. i.e. Weeks 1-4 , 300 mg twice per week. Weeks 5-11ish , 375mg twice per week.

Already have my HcG and clomid and nolvadex lined up so PCT is not a concern. What is a concern is totally shutting down my nuts and hpta. Also a concern is that I have read from some users that anything past 10 weeks and their gains leveled off with sust.

PLEASE ADVISE.
 
Alright, I figured I'd give update photos every two weeks so here is update #1 at day 15, photos are taken cold just like the first pics. Keep in mind that I have been in the sun recently so a tan certainly helps the overall look.

Just a quick update.

Its day 19 and I have noticed a couple changes in the last 4 days.

1. Aggression is through the roof. Not in a "roid rage" lose my temper sort of way, rather, in an alpha-male-predator sort of way. I have always thought of myself as the alpha-male, (don't we all?), but now it is at an all time high. And you know what? I'm fucking loving it! [:o)]

2. Body composition is changing from, uh, er, there's no other way of putting it, I look like I'm unnaturally hard and full. I'm not huge by any means, but when I get a pump now at the gym, that particular bodypart looks like it belongs to a juicer. Oh wait, it does. I guess what I'm saying is, I am seeing exactly what I wanted to see, only didn't expect so soon. I attribute the early transformation to thousands upon thousands of clean calories everyday and working my ass off, and sleep, and supplements, and water, and more calories.

(now if I could just figure out this mother-f'ing E.D. problem...)
 
Looking good mate, any noticable strength gains yet?

I did Sus for my first cycle last year at 500/week for 8 weeks (wish i did 12!!!) and i felt it after 3-4 weeks personally - my strength gains were crazy! So that's why i'm asking...If you haven't felt the strength yet, it's something you should be looking forward to :D

I suppose strength was the main thing i noticed as my calorie wasn't as high as i wanted it to be (3k-4k a day) so the increase in size wasn't as noticable. At 5k-6k though mate you should be getting some shit hot gains!
 
No noticeable strength gains yet, 5 pounds here, 5 pounds there, but not what I would call noticeable.

Weight is still hovering at 230 so I'm guessing most of what I've gained so far is water weight. That's ok though, because I'm not carrying too much in the face and bloating or anything. Looking forward to the strength increase because I am a big believer in heavy weights spurring bigger muscles.

Anybody have any tips on how I might know if my sust is actually sust and not deca? One of the biggest flags would be deca dick and I am having e.d. issues, but my sex drive is through the roof and I didn't think deca would work as quickly as sust. Are there some other tell-tale signs that my sust is the real deal? Btw, it is made by Innovex. Here's some pics.
