This shirt ain't suppose to be that dark grey, I don't think I've sweat so much before. The 275lb deadlifts were light for me but after 5 mins straight 30 reps total after the 315 4x6 it added up huge and my lats were already past fatigued because of the sets before hand.

Obviously my posing sucks big time but I ain't flexing and I'm feeling wide. Thanks WP for the workout it's cool trying a real BB style back workout I've done a couple chest ones but never back.

BTW weighed in at 197 today I haven't measured body fat and I was too tired to try and take multiple pics flexing and such so this is me semi flexed only took one photo so is what it is, once again I suck at posing

Went for my thirty minute bike ride after work earlier.

I believe tomorrow I work up to a heavy triple at RPE 9 on bench.

In other news BP has been spiking in the evening the past few days. I can always feel it when it does. I'll yawn a lot and get a headache and just feel off. It'd been 110's over 70's for months, now it's been 130's over 60's and 70's. I successfully drained about 1/4 pint of blood over the weekend and accidentally pulled the needle out, so I called it quits. I'll aim for close to a full pint this Saturday and see if that helps. I'm still a few weeks out from getting bloodwork to see where I'm at. I've also got BP meds on hand if it becomes a necessity to use them.

Leg feels normal now and bruising is way down. I can fully flex and do anything movement wise and I don't feel a thing. Maybe starting Monday I'll start doing the small stuff. Super light curls. Lots of stretching and incline walking. Would like to be squatting DLing 135-225 by the end of next week. Other news. Weight is right around 205ish. Body seeing noticeable differences in my abs and the fun has started.

Anytime I even barely touch the bar on the rack it usually fucks with my head and I have to re-rack it.

I know youre barely in to it, but howre you feeling about the programming with the coach?

That's what I should've done.

I'm feeling good about it. He reviewed my recent deadlift videos and made a video with some stuff I need to work on.
 
I don't really feel much different to be honest lol. I genuinely enjoy being very heavy. I played this past season at 270 and even with the absurd amount of running and conditioning we did I felt great at that weight. I'm sure I'll feel different about it when I get to be 30-40 but for now I enjoy the weight.

What advice do you (and everyone else reading!) have for effective recomp? Aside from using 50 mg EOD of a certain PED that is known as the king of recomposition. I want to make the most of it.
Take an ECA stack first thing in AM, do 20 minutes MINIMUM fasted cardio. That helped me stay lean even on a big caloric surplus

I'll enjoy watching you guys get stronger as I get weaker.
I stepped over to the dark side briefly during my bulk cycle several months ago as I was checking out several of your individual logs and was doing Sheiko a couple weeks behind Rob but this old body is too beat up my friend. It was a short ride. One pain after another but I really enjoy watching you guys move all that metal.
I'll definitely be following along as you guys train for your meet.
I won't be able to contribute anything as I know less than nothing about powerlifting but I will certainly be annoying you from time to time with my nonsense of humor.

I'd been cutting most of the year and I'm four weeks into a light bulking cycle. I know those getting weaker feels, been fighting to maintain what I could all year, can't wait to start making gains again.

Nonsense humor is always welcome in the absence of powerlifting advice.

Im running sheiko right now. Im in the same boat. Its beating me up. Im thinking I may switch to the 3 day program.

First time in a long time Jay. Needed to feel something different. It's only for 12 weeks and I figure after the cut my body will be wanting to put weight back on so I'm going right into massing back up and hopefully surpassing where I was when I started my cut.
But enough about me getting skinny...
Let's see you big fuckers move some metal.

So WP workout yesterday did a number on me I've been working out traps eod for a while now and they have not been this sore ever it's crazy and my back is feeling torn up.

Finger is pretty fucking broken right now though I'm gonna go in for some new X-rays on it to make sure it's not something they may have to take some bone chips out, I'm getting crazy crepitus when it moves and I can twist the top of my finger 90' in either direction (with pain) freely so I don't think it's meshing in the joint. Also got my date for my MRI for a back issue and getting my nose cauterized July 14th (I get nose bleeds a lot when lifting heavy or ugggghuuummmm getting a little busy at night) anytime my BP raises there are some vessels in my nose that pops and I can easily drain 500ml unless I stop it. So basically gonna try and fix everything in my body so I'm good when I start the full swing of prep :D
