5 Guys....Not just a burger joint anymore

@Perrin Aybara
My last day like that I used 495. The weight has generally been right in the same area that I use for sets 5's. If you think about it 5 reps 8RPE is 7 total maximum exertion reps.
2 reps 6RPE is 6 total maximum exertion reps.

465x8! Nice work. Where is your TNE from when did you inject?

Did a good ol ventroglute pin 45-60mins pre-workout. I will say not though the ventroglute that I pinned is crazy sore. That was 100mg of TNE/100mg tren ace and 200mg mast e *hypothetically* I'm thinking I will go 150mg TNE next time though to see if I can tolerate it so I know how much I can take for the meet without crazy adverse effects.

15 doubles at 475 doesn't sound light to me.

I guess what I meant wasn't actually as light day, just lighter than I might be capable of just to be safe. It's kind of outside anything I've ever done before, so I'm a little unsure. I'm pretty sure I can do 475 for 10 at least though. I've done 495x8 before. I'm supposed to start at RPE 6 and be around 9 by the end. That many sets it's really hard to determine what weight to start with.

495 was my first thought, but having just gone back to sumo and coming off a week off for hip pain I figured I should be safe. Coach wants me staying with sumo if possible, by the way.

I haven't done an all out set of six lately either. I don't know, I've been feeling a little off my game lately I think due to being so much lighter. I'll play it by ear and warm up with 475 in mind and if it's moving great on my last warm-up I'll bump it up.

Alright everyone. I'm back and feeling confident.

Today was week 4 day 1.
I did bench as is except 10lbs heavier on both sessions. All reps were clean and proper RPE for the second round.

Squats went like this.
135 X 10
135 X 10
185 X 8
225 X 6
275 X 5
315 X 4
365 X 3
405 X 2

Instead of leg press I did extensions and curls
5 X 20 for each
Curls 70lbs
Extensions 130

I have a friend trying to figure out what to use on meet day for his upcoming meet. A mix with tren, test, stan all base or TNE. He used the mix last meet but things drug on and it was almost 3 hours after injection before he lifted and the impact was minimal at best.

Yesterday's workout:
squat: 365x5x3
Bench: 315x5x1, 295x5x2
Incline bench: 245x5x2
Chins: 258x10
Paused deadlift: 315x5x2
GHRs: BWx10x2

First time ever doing paused deads and even with 315 they were pain free but pretty hard, surprisingly to me. I'll likely be sticking with them until my lat is back to 100%.

I also lowered the intensities used for texas method volume day a little after doing some more research on it. Seems like almost everyone that's ever had a lot of success with TM says the key is to not kill yourself on volume day, which I guess is a mistake I've made in the past. I'll be doing my best to be better about that in the future. I'm really hoping to squat mid-500s beltless at this meet.

Seeing guess beltless at meets is just unreal always makes me cringe but at the same time I'm in awe of how good their form is. Gotta be solid if you are doing 5+ plates beltless cause that's a conscious decision to not use one.

Side note on the belts just got the price for the new SBD belt:oops: @ROB581211 its a wooping $317 Canadian. I was expecting like 250 so kind of a choke down but it looks great and I'm committed to getting it. Also it's a 13mm 4" belt so more solid then my current 10mm hopefully doesn't cut me as bad as my inzer does

Mine may be a few months from now but it will be mine

It better come with a 50 pound squat and deadlift increase guarantee for that price.

no shit!

@RodgerThat @ROB581211
why dont you guys look into Pioneer Belts and get a custom one made. would be alot cheaper and they are SUPER nice. Just put in an order for a 10MM one last week. my 6.5MM isnt cutting it on Squats anymore. its great for deads and getting into postion so im probably going to continue to use it for that.

I think at this point it's kinda on principle. We both pretty much have all their stuff. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten from them

Ya I'm more of just a brand whore to be honest. SBD is amazing and this belt is the best between a lever and a prong belt having instant adjustability. It's just so perfect, I mean nothing is wrong with my 10mm inzer prong but it doesn't say SBD on it anywhere sooooo....

I know you asked this to Rodger, but Ive used it a few times the last few weeks. For me the first 2 times I didnt feel anything but I pinned directly before walking in the gym. Last time I pinned about 2 hours before and had a 3 hour session I murdered. And had more energy. I would suggest the TNE over the mix as it seems to kick in at a good time and stay longer.

lll second this. I normally do it about 45mins before due to timing of work and gym and it hits me a good hour in the WO and that second hour is go time. Once it kicks it's like I just walked in the door plus some
