Get over that fat free mentality. I always felt same way, but I've been studying up. Your body needs fats, and can benifit from high fast. Another member here talked me in to a high fat, almost zero carb, diet. Today is first official day of it, so stay tuned.

When I first started back lifting after 10yrs (Nov 13'), I could only bench 95lb for 8. LOL That shit sucked...Don't ever stop working out!!

Are they really still best friends? Sorry, I just can't get over that.:confused:

I had a conversation with another member this weekend about full fat milk vs others. Turns out and I researched it, the process in which skim milk is made oxidizes the cholesterol that is left in the skim milk. That oxidized cholesterol some believe irritate the blood vessels and make them more likely to collect plaque. It's totally unproven but just the same. I go with regular ol vitamin D milk myself

Thanks Furious, your info will not fall on deaf ears. I will buy whole from now on. 2% in shakes taste fuckin' awesome, so I'm sure whole will taste even better.

I am cutting right now and I get around 100g of fat per day and no carbs. Worked great so far, got down to 9.5 bf from around 20 quite fast. Now I changed my diet a bit and I do carb loading every 3rd day.

On your carb load do you have a certain number of grams or do you just eat as much as you want?

I have a certain number of grams, a bit more than 200g. Isnt that much, but I still want to keep my total calories intake at approximately 2.3k. On my carb day I only get around 30g of fat and my protein intake is every day at almost 300g. My goal is to get to 8% Bf.
 
All business this morning. After @doubleaa called me out for being a puss (lol just playin' bud) I went in feeling strong. Started with incline BB, which usually hurts my left shoulder and although I did feel a little pain doing them it wasn't to bad. Got 205 for 6 reps 2 sets!! So, that's a PR (since I started back lifting)....twice!! If I didn't do 2 sets of 185 for 8 reps before, I probably could go 225 for 6, but idk that may fuck me up.

What you can't see is this little red dot I see every morning when I take my dog for a quick walk. It glows red for about 2mins then it disappears, everyday. I know its an Alien Mothership, but I don't have any solid evidence....YET!!!!!

Lol well you sure showed me! 205 for 6 on incline! Nice job:-) maybe ill try that next week.i did db`s this week instead. Keep hitten those pr`s!
 
Today is the 5th week. I'm still feeling good, but the last couple of days my left knee (its always the left side w/ me) has hurting and my elbows are a little stiff. My knee doesn't hurt when I'm working out, only after. I'm hoping it means my estrogen level is to low. I'm going to have blood work done on the 17th around 10am that will be about 44hrs after last pin and 5 weeks and 6 days after first pin. I think timing should be alright.
