Go see another doc, man. Unfortunately, the "heightened awareness" of abuse of Testosterone has probably made docs even more wary than before about prescribing it...especially to the younger crowd. What did he say about your treatment history and the Clomid?

dam man i'm really sorry to hear this.... u were really looking forward to it and waited a nice amount of time.... u should of flipped out like i did ........ he might not of put u on hrt but it would of make him look like an idiot and made u feel alot better.. what was your test lvl and what did he say u to exactly... just suck it up and get to another doctor............ hell if u want start it yourself until u can get to another doctor (but get your primary to run tests)......... for only 19.95 i will come pay your doctor a visit....... but u must act within the next 30min ............ hehe.... this really makes me want to go to school for endo.........

If interested I can give you the names of some legitimate online clinics that work with real doctors in your area. Sometimes this route is more expensive since the online clinic has to make thier spread, but on the other hand it is completely legit because you are really working with local doctor that knows something about real HRT............. Or even better yet, contact the compounding pharmacy www.medaus.com and ask for a referral of a HRT physician in your area. Thier prices and customer service seem to be excellent. Just give them a call or drop them an email.

He is doing a blood test and taking a semen sample. I'm going to get the tests back, get my results and go to another doctor, but not before I tell him how big a piece of shit he is. Mark my fucking words, he's going to get a good ol' Marine Corps style ass chewing.

I want to see where he's going with this 'semen sample' bullshit. Aparantly he's testing me for a type of cancer.

EDIT: I felt like such a jackass. He just belittled me for my knowledge. I was prepared beyond any of his patients. I sat in a waiting room full of 80 year olds for almost an hour for this shit.

Well, at first I was afraid the title of this thread may just be another bit of the 'ol humor. Clearly it is not.

My first bit of advice to you, Krom, would be to learn to express your true feelings. LOL.

I am sorry, but I cannot recall whether you posted your hormone levels or not. What were they?

It has also been my experience that Endo's are practically untrainable. I know, I have taken many a patient away from them--guys who, like you, did their homework and came fully prepared. For some reason, Endo's often consider themselves the be-all and end-all of hormonal manipulation, and, frankly, few can hang with me in a discussion about it for more than 30 seconds.

I know the folks at Medaus. We had a falling out a couple of years ago, when they screwed me out of a speaking engagement (one I was really looking forward to because it was at a fancy-schmantzy all inclusive resort). However, I do think you have a better chance at finding a good TRT doctor, who is not too far from you, through them. And you are always welcome to come here for advice on what you should do once you see him/her. I taught quite a bit at a Medaus-sponsored medical conference, and I am sure they would have no problem with this.

You also could have me Consult through your local doctor. This is completely legitimate, and also then serves as a "force multiplier" as the doc then learns from me how best to administer TRT for men. Other men may get good TRT as well then.

Due to the longer half-life, less phasic production and diminished acute phase reactant profile, FSH may actually be a better marker for HPTA integrity than LH is.

Treating low FSH levels is really under the guise of fertility treatment.

A Total T of 500 with a max reference range of 820 is not too bad. However, I would not base diagnosis on a single TT level--this assay is notoriously unreliable. Also, I wish you had a Bioavailable T, at least a Free T, to correlate wtih. You need evaluation of estrogen levels, too. These things are part and parcel of an appropriate evaluation.

Its no wonder your testes shrunk with FSH levels like that!
How did you feel Kroms while you were on the clomid treatment? It looks like you are secondary with such a good response from the clomid. Did your balls fully recover in size? Was your libido good etc or did you experience some of the sides from clomid...

Thanks for the response. I felt awesome on the Clomid. I was a sexual T-Rex. My libido was great. Confidence was through the roof. After I came off the Clomid I felt worse... much worse. My testicles are small as hell. It's frightening. They almost fully recovered during the Clomid, but afterwards, shrank even worse. And no sides from the Clomid during or post treatment that were a direct effect of the Clomid. Just the worsening of my hypogonadism.
