AAS users having mostly Daughters?

Why is it when bodybuilders have kids majority of the time it's a girl. There is no research or scientific data on this being true but it is very known in the bodybuilding community. Can anyone explain or does anyone have any legit data to back this up?

It’s been talked about before and as far as I know, no actual data other than anecdotally it does seem more have daughters.

I’m having a gender reveal party this weekend.. I’ll be able to tell you if it’s true for me then.

One of the broscience theories is that the male sperm live significantly shorter than female, and that AAS use may cause sperm motility issues.

So theory is that in some cases the male sperm just don't live long enough.

This is all hersay broscience, I haven't seen any real data to back this up, other than the that female sperm do in fact live longer than male

ive heard this same theory before also that weak or fat men or low testosterone men more likely to have daughters. If there really is a connection it probably has something to do with the atrophy in the nuts from gear. Everyone on AAS is basically artificial alpha males with weak beta male nuts lol

there will never be science that ever confirms this though for obvious reasons it will always just be speculation

I have 5 nefews and I know for a fact that my brother in law was a juice monkey. None of them used steroids and we have no male children.

Just my take. Show me the studies or gtfo.

I have a daughter on the way lol

but yeah seems like for every bodybuilder that has a son, there are 20 more that have daughters

Steve Kuclo ironically enough just announced they are expecting a son

I can not confirm that, but I heard of that theory before.

I once read it has to do with genetics or maybe epigenetics and if the male sperm/DNA is the dominant over the mothers so probably zero truth to it.
Homie, there’s so much confusion is such a small space…

Yes, it’s genetic. Biological sex is determined by genes in humans. No, it’s not epigenetic. That refers to how environmental conditions influence the expression of your genetic inventory. The male sex chromosome is about 70% the size of the female one; males lack it entirely, it’s not present but being suppressed by methylation.

It is not dominance in the relevant sense of the word. It is true, however, than biological sex is entirely determined by the male gamete — the sperm. The ovum always carries an X, each sperm contains either an X or a Y.

Compared to most other animals, mammals have one of the simplest sex determination systems around.

Sounds like you know more than me in this subject, but do not epigenetics of the parents effect the childs genetic outcome?

I have 4 boys from 2 different women..
Currently not running hcg/hmg so I'm sterile but years ago I did and made 4 boys on the other side my uncle who was on gear for many years 6 daughters.. unlucky fella... I think he gave up on trying for a boy..

This may be true, but I don't know if the dude was far off the mark.

I'm no expert in genetics. But I know there is such a thing as epigenetic inheritance, whereby epigenetic tags are passed down to children through environmental factors impacting the parents (AAS use, perhaps?).

For a non-expert like myself, it does not seem so far a leap to consider that the epigenetic impact of using AAS could alter male gametes in a manner that shows preference for X or Y chromosomes.

Fwiw I only have boys and both conceived while blasting
Same, both my boys were conceived while blasting tren. At this point I’m worried about running tren out of fear of getting another kid, haha.
I've heard the same thing about smoking marijuana. Makes you more likely to have daughters.
Both my boys were conceived while I was blasting tren and I was smoking marijuana nightly to help with sleep.

Dude if those guys are having any kids at all they should feel lucky XD

...but no seriously it's definitely something to do with the 'nads XD
