Accutane permanent cure?

High HCT is from my regular AAS use, but I can't donate (usually dump double reds) because of the Accutane. I'm not sure where I got the ringworm. I think the fungus is pretty common, but most people's skin is healthy enough to basically say "the fuck outta here." Seems my skin right now is particularly vulnerable. My best guess is from doing planks on the floor and pads at the gym.
You can still donate. Just call them within 24 hours of donating and tell them you feel sick. Then you will check the ethics box in your brain and carry on peacefully knowing nobody is going to receive your tainted blood. I’ve done that before and never missed a lick. Meaning I believe they just discarded that one donation and it didn’t effect me next time I needed to donate.

Also, idk about you but every time I donate the double reds (ALYX machine or something like that) I feel absolutely fantastic for the remainder of that day. I’ve always equated the process to getting an overdue oil change.

Side note question: does anyone know if donating plasma will lower hematocrit? I have never tested over 50 on my hematocrit but just wondering if donating plasma does anything for the reasons we donate blood.

I'm very happy the thyroid "optimization" I've been able to get with just T4, luckily. Really a shocking quality of life boost to get free T4 into the 75th percentile range for my age. I see why "thyroid clinics" are popping up all over now.

I'm on a lot of stuff, but nothing has changed recently other than the switch from UGL T3 to pharma (Thyronorm). Today I woke up and thought "damn, I feel really good." It was easy to physically get out of bed. Normally I'm like a rusted machine. Inflammation feels way down, which I find perplexing because I've been a bit lax with my eating this week, taking a small break, eating plenty of inflammatory foods. Mentally/emotionally I feel a lot better, too. This is a rare occurrence for me, and I'm wondering if the T3 is the cause. Makes me wonder if the "T3" I was taking by Amino Asylum was really T3. Knowing AA, it's damn sure not dosed accurately. Now taking 12.5mcg of Thyronorm's T3 three times a day. I was using about 10mcg of Amino's T3 three times a day.

Do you mean Thyronorm Thyroxine?

That's T4 from Abbot labs, the company that originally synthesized it, Been on 50mcg for a few months and it's nothing short of remarkable. Although the normal starting dose is 1.6mcg/kg, those with "long standing" hypothyroidism are supposed to be started with a low dose, 25 or 50, before going to the full amount,

Fuck sakes, man. How could I make that mistake? I ordered the wrong damn thing. Since I'm cranking out rT3 due to deficit (I have labs showing it's above top end of reference range), I've been directly supplementing T3. The intent was to down-regulate the natural production of T4, thereby removing the source of rT3 and infusing T3 at the same time. I'm not making this up; it's just a standard approach when in deficit and rT3 gets too high (and fat loss slows/stalls as a result). You either directly supplement T3 or stop the deficit.

So what I actually did was stop T3 day before yesterday and started on T4 (that I thought was T3). By supplying my body with T4, wouldn't it just convert more into rT3 in my current state? Yet this clearly is making me feel good. So now I'm 100% confused as to how to proceed while preserving this recent positive surprise.

There's a "moderated" message waiting because I cursed myself for making a dumb mistake. Anyway, moving forward. I cannot deny the T4 is having a positive benefit... and so quickly. No way this is placebo, because I thought it was T3 and have been taking that for about a month. So, I'm going to add the T4 at 50mcg once a day, morning. I'm also going to keep using the UGL T3 I thought I was upgrading to pharma at 5mcg three times a day since I still have the rT3 issue to address. I did not know T4 did other things besides just getting converted to T3. In the meantime, I'm going to reach out to PCT247 and see about availability of actual pharma T3. I took 10mcg of the UGL T3 a few hours ago and can feel that it is now too much with T4's addition.

Be careful, I know one of the (thankfully few) pseudo pharma / UGL labs from India is Evolve Biolabs and testing showed they were selling T3 that was actually T4.

Blister packs with "For export only" are usually the sus products. There are legit T3/T4 combo tabs, I'll try to find the brand name for them, if just ask PCT24 (if he ever responds, dude falls off the map sometimes).

Yea, I felt pretty good picking Thyronorm since it was Abbott. Just kind of missed the mark with the actual chemical. I actually already emailed PCT247. I saw on a search that they do carry it; it's just not on the list.

accutane is taking forever to work for me... might not be as effective for steroid induced acne... how long did everyone have to run it for?

My bacne was 100% steroid induced, but body acne takes higher doses for longer than the usual teen facial acne.

What dose are you on and how long so far?

Here in the past few weeks, I've noticed a marked improvement in my face. I don't know what specifically, but it just looks younger. It's always red like I have a sunburn, but that's all over body, as well. I think the areas that have the highest turnover rate are prone to have the most redness, and whatever was going on with the backs of my hands is long gone. Actually, even that skin looks younger now that I'm looking at it. It appears more smooth. I suppose it's the same with my face. Guess it all goes back to shrinking pores. Almost down to my final box of 40mg.

So roughly 16 weeks to get appreciable benefits so far... for me. First 8 weeks spent ramping up to 160mg, and the next 8 weeks at full dose. Roughly 4-5 weeks left. I will be so glad I take those final caps.

It's the pores, and the nose shrinks a bit as sebaceous glands shrink,

Also, I may as well report, coming off cycle
was always the worst time for me and bacne,

I didn't get any bacne, but a couple (literally 2) pimples showed up on my chest,

They were clearly not the nasty inflamed type as before, and disappeared in under a week,

A couple, that quickly cleared, vs hundreds I'd get in the past, and none on my back.

Anybody else experience fatigue from accutane. I’m barely making it through work, get home pass out on the couch, spend half the weekend sleeping. Only lifted once this week and got two cardio session in. Any one have a solution to the fatigue?
Only 27 days in did 10 days at 40mg, 10 days at 80mg and am on day 7 at 120mg.

I mentioned this earlier. Had me practically nonfunctional. Just a lot of caffeine and water.

Goes away form some, others it gets worse.

Like swolie said, hydration appears to be a major factor. Fatigue typically lessens after remaining at the same dose. Soft stims like caffeine (or better yet Moda) help.

If you can't take it anymore and it's not lessening, dropping the dose even slightly often has a disproportionately significant reduction in sides.

Used it a few years ago it did it's job quite well(face was red and large amount of acne). Occasional zit here and there on forehead now and I do and have always had some acne here and there on body.

In searching for information about sun exposure after an Accutane course I saw an article that recommended waiting 6 months to use a tanning bed and I've seen another article mention 1 month before having extended sun exposure.

For anyone who has finished a course and tans regularly, how long did you wait to start tanning?

I waited 2 months and all was well.
