To be fair, 160mg is pretty brutal... What is your weight?I had to drop down from 160mg/day to 120mg due to joint pain in knees, elbows, and shoulders. Hoping to bump up to 140mg once the pain settles and finish out my high-dose run there.
Anyone see joint pain improvement from a similar decrease?
I started tretinoin along side dapsone gel - and doxepine- and had decent results before I started the accutane run. Domestic cost for the daspone is stupid, and part of what started me looking harder at accutane. Indian pharma has it (usually at 5% instead of 7.5%) for much less though. It's essentially an antibacterial so may or may not be useful depending on your situation.Have some goodies coming in from India to further benefit the skin:
- Azelaic Acid 20% and Hydroquinone 4% (for issues with hyperpigmentation from old acne)
— Tretinoin .025% (for a myriad of reasons)
