alcohol

Where alcohol is derived from doesn't really matter. Whiskey comes from corn, vodka comes from potatoes, rum from sugarcane, blah blah blah...

Here's what matters...
Calorie content per gram:
Carb 4
Protein 4
Alcohol 7
Fat 9
 
FYI Vodka used to be made from potatoes but now is almost exclusively made from grain. Sure you can still find a few high end brands made from potatoes, but generally not. It has no carbs because it is distilled and charcoal filtered. Essentially vodka is alcohol and water, that's it. In my opinion alcohol should be avoided by bodybuilders.

I agree with you there. If I go and drink for a night, I wake up cut as hell because I have no water in my system.

I am newly join this site. I think alcohol used people more but this is not good. I think alcohol very bad habit this type of alcohol use for people main health problems more. No it wasn't. It was barely English and a thinly disguised advertisement for his fucking rehab center. It was as poorly said as it was written.
 
I think getting drunk once a month would be more conducive to getting max results from your training. That being said I don't follow my own advice..lol...I usually get intoxicated at least once a week. When I drink it's Jim Beam and water..mmm...keeps you hydrated..lol (not really) I do admit that cutting back on consuming alcohol is one of the area's of my training I could definately devote some more effort to. Unfortunately where i live has the most bars per capita than any other city in the country. Lot of lazy fat drunks here...not many alternative entertainment options here
 
Yup, cannabis can do almost as much damage as liquor (which pains an old pothead like me to point out).

I dont know maybe...i personally think weed isnt gonna hurt you if you smoke every so often..it may flare up your gyno but thats with excessive amounts..if your a strong minded person and dedicated to training smoking every so often wont affect you. Arnold blazed all the time. As for drinking id deff wouldnt if your serious about your training.
