I have someone arguing with me that the upcoming olympic mens team will be better than the dream team.

The new team will choose between Harrison Barnes, Trey Burke, Jimmy Butler, Mike Conley, Draymond Green, Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo, LaMarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony, Bradley Beal, Tyson Chandler, DeMarcus Cousins, Stephen Curry,Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Andre Drummond,Kevin Durant, Kenneth Faried, Rudy Gay, Paul George, Blake Griffin, James Harden, Gordon Hayward, Dwight Howard, Andre Iguodala, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kyle Korver, David Lee, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Kevin Love, Paul Millsap, Chandler Parsons, Chris Paul, Mason Plumlee, Derrick Rose, Klay Thompson, John Wall,Russell Westbrook and Deron Williams.

Those are all great players but I think the best 13 there would get murdered by the Dream Team. Seriously I think it would be a 20 - 30 point win. If you forget about Laetner the only people from the current team I think could even make the 92 team are Lebron and KD.

Just my opinion though.
 
There's only acouple vets on that squad you named. The rest are kids playing in the sand box! Lol old dream team would win imo

Yea. I think so too. Plus all but one player on the dream team were HOFers. But the dude says Im just old. I realized that a lot of younger dudes have never seen Jordan, Bird, etc. If youre 20 right now you never actually watched them play. In their minds Lebron is the best ever.

I hope they come out strong this year with KD and Serge being back.

I think both would probably split.

KD to an Eastern Conference Team.

And Westbrook to whatever team will make him the #1 option.

Pf-Tim Duncan or Hakeem (tough pick)
C- Shaq

Its tough to say about wilt because when he played the caliber of players just weren't the same. There was some badass players for sure, but I think players now that we consider average are at a higher level than what was average back then. Plus Wilt played before goaltending and 3 seconds in the paint which made it easier for him then than the centers that came after.

If I remember correctly KD is a FA after this year, but Westbrook has year left.
I think if the Thunder had to theyd trade Westbrook, but only if KD is signing back.
If KD leaves, Westbrook would probably stay. He could get more money staying and he'll def be number 1.
Only way I see him leaving is to take Kobe's place after he retires. Being an LA kid and all. But him and Russell play about the same. So unless that trade goes through for Cousins there's really no point.

Thats an interesting team. I like Lebron at PG

Its really tough to compare eras. Like I said an in earlier post, im biased.
I never saw some old players play so its hard for me to put Russell, Wilt, all the old old Celtics, etc in my top players.
