I think this highlights the problem with cops on steroids. While the issue of the so-called "roid rage" involving cops on steroids gets all the headlines, the most serious issue is having cop susceptible to corruption, black mail and participating in an illegal black market activity.
Do you think Paquette was surprised when he was arrested by the Richmond County Sheriff Office? I do. If he is to believed, this very law enforcement agency was one of his best customers over the past decade with dozens of cops buying steroids from him. This means that, at best some cops were simply overlooking his steroid dealing; at worst, other cops were participating, protecting and/or facilitating his criminal activities.
