Definitely think this is generally true. The high altitude data does get a little dicey at certain levels, once you get to sky high levels (~57-58+%), regardless of health status, there is a clear increase in adverse cardiac events/strokes/embolisms.If you keep hydrated and have normal platelet count I won't worry much just keep an eye on it
That said, to have a 58+% hematocrit while being generally well hydrated that's fairly impressive and you would likely have untreated sleep apnea or other comfounding factors anyway.
