Asking for a friend. He 48 and is on 125mg test TRT and added 25mg Anavar, within a week he was up 8lbs. What would be the reason for rapid weight gain when diet and training has gone unchanged?

It could be also test depending on how long he's been on it. Reason I say that, I started 125mg, same as your friend, around a month and. First two weeks barely any chance in weight, last week I gained 3 lbs and now I'm projected to gain 5 lbs. My diet has improved (still at a small deficit) and my workout hasn't changed, expert for improvements in weights.Asking for a friend. He has been on TRT for 2 years, he wanted to run anavar as he read it was a dry compound he is at maintenance calories and just looking for a little kick to his try. Seems like it could only be nitrogen storage. It could be also test depending on how long he's been on it. Reason I say that, I started 125mg, same as your friend, around a month and. I'm leaner then before, 13%bf -> 11%, and my muscles feel fuller, so very little bloating if any. Overall, as mentioned, it's glycogen storage from both.
prior to anavar yes. 1 week in he went up in weight, 2 weeks now he dropped it. Wasnt looking for weight gain.Does he have current blood work ?
