Anxiety Medications. What has worked for you?

Psilocybin has been a game changer for me
More than any prescription drug
It’s in trials now
In 10 years it’ll be common
Zero risk
VERY effective
NO sides

Are you micro dosing or are you the type of person that benefits from a full hero trip to reset the brain once or twice a year? Thinking of giving MD'ing a shot again I just remember these pre-capped hippy pills I got were 250mg with a bunch of stuff like Lions mane, ginger etc. but 250 was definitely too much. Just felt "off" and got a cold feeling, definitely wasn't relaxing. Probably start with 50mg and go from there of a nice easy going strain I know.

What’s your diagnosis? Mirtazapine is well respected in the mental health community. Have you asked your doctor why he/she choose that one for you?
Um some kind of anxiety disorder and some kind of depression, MDD, major depressive disorder
If i recall correctly....

Microdosing 80mg/wk
But a trip a year of 4G does a nice reset also

Yeah it's exactly like the symptoms of a heart attack, the term is "impending doom". No matter how hard of a mofo you are your brain literally tells you you're dying or something bad is inevitable, Benzos are a god send but I wouldn't wish them on anyone unless you are debilitated by your anxiety or suffer from GAD daily I wouldn't touch them as they are hell to come off of. Having Xanax on hand to use PRN once in awhile is a lot different than guys who end up on daily scripts. Trust me been down the GABA related drugs road and it is hell.

My Advice as someone who has been anxious since I was a kid:

vitamins that may help:

Ashawaganda - I believe it actually works in relation to the Gaba-a unit but also has been proven to reduce cortisol levels by up to 27-30% in some tests. I would take it at night try 300mg, and then 600mg and make sure you get the KSM-66 type.

L-Theanine - Can pretty much take as much as you want, can be very calming and if you are coming off benzos or are panicking feel free to take up to 1g at a time.

Magnesium Glycinate or Citrate - Majority of population is deficient in magnesium and it's naturally calming typically I would take 1.5g before bed. If you haven't had issue with gaba drugs previously this one might surprise you how relaxing/tired it can make you feel.

BPC-157 - Has been shown to slow/help rats not get physically addicted as badly to Diazepam (Valium) when co-administered. Definitely has some sort of effect on homeostasis in the GABA system. Typically 250-500mcg pre-bed. If you are trying to get off your benzos then 500mcg 3x a day to help calm you works great.

BPC alone some people fine helps with anxiety/relaxation.

Selank is another peptide that is touted for anxiety

Agmatine - just google Agmatine anxiety or Agmatine depression for more info I'm just gonna bang out the list of items I have. The coals notes is :

Agmatine, is a substance that has existed since 1911 which posseses the same antidepressant effects as ketamine and other glutamergic drugs, by inducing massive neurogenesis in the prefrontal cortex & hippocampus via mTor signaling and AMPA receptor activation.

Tyrosine - Dopamine related

5-HTP - if you want to avoid prescription SSRI's

SAM-E

NAC

Last, last resort: Benzos AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE and for some reason people seem to say Xanax has much worse withdrawals than other benzos and I've heard it from a few other people as well.

Always recommend using them PRN and no more than when you full blown panic. If you are on Ativan/Xanax/some other fast acting hard hitting benzo and want to quit I recommend the following:

1) Transfer your prescription to a long acting benzo like Diazepam (Valium) General rule is 1mg Ativan/Xanax is equipotent to ~10mg Diazepam. Diazepam is much easier to taper due to its extremely long half life, you will not succeed trying to taper xanax if you have been on it for awhile the half life is just too short.
2) Google the Ashton Manual and follow a proper taper protocol, do NOT try to cold turkey or quit these too fast
3) Run BPC alongside the Diazepam as you taper
4) take it SLOW and steady, it takes a very long time to properly hop off these drugs.

I hope this list helps people out and feel free to PM me if you have questions. Unfortunately I don't have much experience in the Anti-depressant department though.
This was an awesome write up bro I'm going to try and use some things to see if they can help me. I'm going through things and have anxiety and mental things too

I've been micro dosing mushrooms for the last few months and I find the perfect dose is anywhere from 100-125mg.

It makes my days brighter and more full of optimism. I take a day or two break every week and once or twice each month I'll take anywhere from 500mg to 1 gram just to really stretch my legs so to speak.

It doesn't fuck me up to the point I don't know what's going on like a huge dose would but still allows me to be introspective and helps me organize my thoughts without the constant chatter. Gives me quite a bit of euphoria as well.

I highly suggest micro dosing.

I was prescribed Tramadol when i broke my foot and was in a hell of a lot of pain

After taking it i noticed how calm and just generally fantastic i would feel, truly great

I googled it and although its a pain killer, its highly regarded as an anti depressant / anti anxiety drug

I can confirm it is extremely effective, for all of the above

But what happens when you stop? For a while. Like 3 months.

What's up guys?
As alot of you know i take xanax as needed for panic attacks stemming from issues in the service.
Today my GP prescribed Buspar for me. Hoping i can eventually come off xanax for good.
Does anyone have experience with this med? I'm skeptical because from what i have read it seems it's more for generalized anxiety and not panic attacks.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1g of trenbolone acetate

It’s also very addicting. The withdrawals are similar to opiates. Personally I thought it was as bad as anything I’ve come off of, because not only is it euphoric like a pain reliever it also has a stimulant affect.

Just my two cents.

Friends, try some Selank. if you're more depression inclined along with anxiety, try Sarcosine. Tastes sweet, can get powder from Science Bio or caps on Amazon. Selank can be bought in lyophilized powder from same or other research companies, or from Cosmic Nootropic direct from Russia in solution. Both offer a superior risk/reward profile, especially Selank, with a proven history of efficacy. Selank can be IM'd, Sub-Q'd or intranasally. I go nasally, no difference among all 3 routes in my many months of experience with it, so it saves me a pin or two a day.

Don't sleep on the Russians / Eastern EU, many fantastic products have come from there where Western medicine fails you otherwise.

I have know 2 people who've taken Buspar and it worked super well for both of them.

You really need to combine it with CBT though and therapy techniques. Often times after a year to 18 months I think the Buspar stops working...but then again so do benzos (or at least you need to keep increasing the dose and risk dependency and possibly addiction).

What dose, though? And have you stacked it with semax? I have heard the intranasal has a better effect but you say otherwise?

Yes i smoke and it helps.
It helps now, but it hurts in the long run. Google the data.

These psychiatric drugs probably alter your mind permanently after a prolonged use. Hope you could handle it without "medication".

Remember the "medication" cures nothing, just covers it up.

Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes shit has to get covered up for a bit until your ready to change it.

50 mg Zoloft is a life changer for me, Anxiety is gone but I am a very intense person and zoloft keeps me calm, level headed & not angry. Literally changed my life for the better & no side effects.
