With all due respect, I am amused by those who pass judgement after seeing a 20 minute segment on a program that can only thrive by stimulating conversations around the water cooler.
If it did happen, then those responsible should stand trail and accpet the consequences. More importantly, steps shoudl be taken to ensure it does not happen again.
From my personal experience I can say this is not the norm. News shows and media in general must print or report the uncommon b/c it has shock value. You never hear about Jimmy buying a Toyota b/c it has no schock value.
I don't have a solution and am glad I am not responsible for those POW's or making decisions that will effect the nation. One thing I can say is that we, as a country, need to pick a problem. So and so dosen't like she can't breast feed in public and her best friend wants you to cut your six pack rings to save marine life. We can't be all things to all people, so we need to pick an issue and see it to the end.

U dont need a 20 minute segment to decide on this issue....all u had to do is see the pics.....they made me sick. We are a just nation!!

They eluded that outside contractors were doing that shit and that the soldiers where going along with it and helped "Prepare" the soldiers.

But I was shocked to actually see those pics.....discusting. I hope I would have enough will power and human decency to to what the soldier did to expose these guys.....that had to take a lot of balls!

The Lynch issue was an atrocity. Those who committed the act should be punished as war criminals, that is what the geneva convention is for. Standards were established for the treatment of prisoners following one of the most barbaric holocausts in history. We are suppose to live by it, and punish those who violate the rules.

The problem with the Lynch issue is that a woman is involved and most God-fearing men in this world seek blood for such crimes rather than due process. Seeking blood is fine, killing the enemy is fine, but writing on an unarmed POW, forcing them to assume homosexual poses, and forcing them to strike each other in hand to hand combat is not. If a man is resisting arrest and fights with the cops, he is getting his due. However, when he is cuffed and the cops continue kicking his ass, it is a cowardly act. A fair fight is valid, taking advantage of someone in a compromised position is not. As I have said herein, we are suppose to be a civilized nation yet in a small number of circumstances, we have acted no better than our adversary.

Ultimately, reflecting back to your initial question, it is not right for any woman to be raped regardless of her country of origin.
 
Well, Hogg has a right to be upset. During this conflict and post 9/11, every American took the "high road" and preached about how the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan were uncivilized Neanderthals, about how they didnt respect human rights and about how we Americans should teach them a-thing-or-two about freedom.

And now that it is obvious that there were obscene abuses perpetrated by our American Forces (or whatever you want to call the people who did that), are we in the same uproar? No, we justify it. We say "they had it coming" or "lets not judge." We sure were quick to judge after 9/11 werent we?

We are supposed to be the good guys. We are supposed to PROVIDE freedom, not take it away. American forces should behave at a higher standard than our enemies, and should at least behave at some decent level of humanity for God's Sakes! Anything less and it is unacceptable!

I dont care if you are Iraqi, Afghani, or American...A human being is a human being.

Ya know what- I really don't give a shit what your role is here. In the past I have enjoyed interacting with you and have always been respectful. Your pass judegement on 7 people under extreem stress but yet when someone disagrees with you, you respond with "fuck you". I don't agree with the 7 soilders and I don't agree with your actions. The ball is in your court - what are you going to do?
 
Beyond that, the commander of the prison and that dike with the grit hanging out of her mouth looked like the stereotypical redneck white trash that this country allows to breed without measure....I personally see a good reason to legalize abortion and to sanction sterilization in cases where continuation of the lineage will only propagate another generation of illiterate democrats.

LOL.....I'm not going to touch that one with a ten foot pole. The traits of the republican party that I acknowledge foremost are as follows:

1.) To limit the size of government
2.) To limit taxation.
3.) To promote prosperity.

Damn straight Hogg or anybody will pass judgement on someone under extreme stress and does those things. Stress is not an excuse for bullshit like that. I watched the show and was disgusted beyond belief, and I will judge those individuals because they are representing Americans as a whole in Iraq. This is an atrosity and needs to be dealt with NOW~Sensational

Extreme stress?, i don't see extreme stress in the pictures, i see a bunch of uncivilized people "smiling", i thought the words "smile" and "stress" are mutually exclusive.
