Anyone else never use pre workout?

I got this pre workout called big bang and it’s insane. It’s 150mg caffeine, 4mg yohimbine, 100mg teacrine, all of the standard pump products, noopept, and 75mgs DMAA.

I took a full scoop and it was way too much. My bench went up 15 lbs but my heart rate was much higher than what I’m comfortable with. I no longer use more than a quarter scoop, but in all honesty a regular can of c4 works just fine.

I vote for just a regular energy drink or coffee as the best PWO.

No "pre workouts" but I have in the past. I just can't justify spending money on them. I might take a cialis or viagra and hour before tho.

I don’t use pwo. Last time I did, the guy swore it was “non stim”

Had a solid workout but I Felt disgusting the whole night. It was like I smoked 100 cigarettes in a row.

I have enough mental energy tbh. I just drink Karbolyn now pre and intra workout

I'm new to lifting and still learning how to optimize my workouts. A lot of the preworkout supplements I've seen are either most / entirely stimulants such as caffeine. I am NOT particularly caffeine sensitive but I do have 200mg caffeine tablets on hand.

Do others find the primary benefit to be that they are able to move more weight in a set, that they feel less fatigue from the workout, or something more like enhanced mental clarity?

If you are able to move more weight due with the stimulants, does this actually translate into faster gains? I'm petite and female so I'm not moving much weight compared to the guys here but I'd still like to do what I can to enhance the effects of my gym time.

Stimulants such as caffeine work on CNS (central nervous system) and alter or enhance/increase alertness, concentration, metabolic rate, power, strength, and decrease fatigue.

Obviously not all stimulants are equal, but caffeine is one of the most powerful ones that is legal and safer than say amphetamines.

Thanks for the response! I guess what I'm really asking is if these effects are simple and transitory or if they actually impact the rate of muscle gain from the workout.

I believe they are short term thing, sure caffeine been shown to improve performance. Overall, I think your diet and sleep are way more important. Stimulants may help you move more weight if timed correctly. As for big gains, usually it is a pyramid of 3 pieces: diet, training, steroids. Stimulants are maybe a small piece lf the pyramid.

I can take 120mcg clen no problem
This might be a dumb question but is that all at once? I've space my doses out with the first being 40mcg then 20,20,20,20. I've also heard people say they prefer t3 on cycle and clen ran during pct for its anit-catabolic properties. Are the anti-catabolic effects that noticeable?

Ps I just started clen but am thinking about switching when the t3 comes in

10 mg IR adderall, 5 mg aricept, and a cup of coffee. A bunch other stuff too but those are the ones I think improve workout intensity the most for me.

Never use pre-workouts.

They eventually drain the system like drinking coffee all day. (You will start to feel tired all the time) I do a cup of caffeinated coffee an hour before lift and that is plenty sufficient. (Don’t always drink the whole cup, just sip till I feel awake and ready to go)

Decaf the rest of the day. I have found act of simply drinking a warm drink (never could get used to tea) helps keep me energized during normal work activities.

Another thing to note. The caffein which does the heavy lifting is absorbed much faster in a pre workout formula than coffee. This you get a higher peak and quicker crash. Add to that the ancillary compounds that amplify it. 1+1 does not equal 2. It equals 4

Stick with coffee gents, or sip your pre workout over time and don’t be OCD and finish it when you feel “awake”. Don’t do it till you hum. Just till you are slightly energized.

Had some of the best workouts of my life with TNE when I used to use it.
Instead of immediately assuming I should have clarified. When I read TNE I immediately assumed TNE water based suspension (e.g., Aquaviron). Was that what you we using or TNE dissolved in oil with extra solvent?
