Anyone else never use pre workout?

Sup guys, is it just me who never uses pre workout? Never really drank caffeine to much. If I do get some pre it’s the non stim pump formulas. Anyone else the same ?
 
I don't use pre workout. I don't like crashing at the end of my workout and then have the rest of the day to deal with it.

I have heard reports of bodybuilders using high doses of cacao paste as a pre workout which really interests me since I drink a lot of cacao paste and cacao/cocoa, but the doses they take are basically coffee levels of caffeine with lots of theobromine and fat...

But those reports were only a website selling cacao paste and I can't find any mention of people using it here or other bb forums
 
I'm pretty caffeine sensitive and pre workout actually worsens my performance most of the time. It's harder to recover between sets because of increased heart rate. I also can get dizzy on certain lifts if I'd had too much. I'll have a 8oz cup of coffee maybe 2 hours before training if I really need it. Fuck all those 300mgs per drink formulas. I'd feel absolutely awful.
 
I stopped when I started training for powerlifting because of the back pumps and stuck to just coffee
 
I'm the same way. I don't use preworkout and/or caffeine or stimulants.

I find natural energy just feels so much better once you get used to it.

Used to be caught up heavily in the caffeine loop where I'd take 100mg pre workout. After a while I had a tolerance, and if I didn't take 100mg, I'd feel like crap, and 100mg only made me feel nornal. So then I increased it to 200mg, after a while the same thing happened, and the cycle repeats. It was good for lifting but I hated how it made me feel on longer runs. Really elevated my heart rate a lot and by the end of the run I felt like I was going to have a heart attack

I have been considering ordering test no ester to add pre workout though. Had some of the best workouts of my life with TNE when I used to use it.
 
I find i just end up feeling more exhausted and burn out when i consistently use preworkouts so i stay away from them. Ouside of some coffee and some citrullne every now and then, im all natural:cool:
 
i used to use a pre-workout but it made me jittery even though it didn't have much caffeine, now i make my own stim free pre workout consisting of protein,carbs, beta alinine, l citrulline and also some potassium and some bcaa intra workout i get great pumps and have the mind muscle connection
 
I was preworkout free for 12 years, last September i tried Gaspari's super aggression and it was nuts. One day i went a full scoop and it ruined my workout, i was jittery and anxiety was hitting hard.. As far as i know many bodybuilders avoid stims, we're already fuck up our hearts with the PEDS and the eating-workout stress, many of us are on nebivolol to reduce our RHR so i don't think it's a good idea to smash big stim doses. For reference the one i was taking has 400mg caffeine in one scoop. I prefer a double coffee or a monster energy drink which has 150mg caffeine and i'm more than ok. I wish i could get my hands on a good stim free preworkout like gorilla mode but i can't find anything for ordering in my country.

I take it you've never used it if this what you're linking me.

Think I'm starting to see why a lot of people don't like you on here. At first I was on your sid, but you make liking you very difficult

For those who want the cliffs notes and like to read in addition to the feelz report:


How many of you have actually used test no ester in a buccal troche form that actually would function with pharmacokinetics suitable for pre-workout? Could also do test cream applied to anus / nasal gel for very rapid tmax.

Yeah pres have too much caffiene for me and it can fuck up my session. I just stick to 100mg caffiene pill about an hour before I train and its just the right amount. Motivated to train, not overly hyped up.
 
I gotta say most pw supps are shit...

I'm extremely caffeine tolerant (should I say stimulant) I can take 120mcg clen no problem, except cramps (taurine).

However, at least over here they come loaded with beta alanine for feelz... and boy do I hate it, the tingling sensation makes me want to punch someone at the gym... (obviously exaggerating) but it's annoying AF. Makes me sit it out between sets rather than using it for energy. In my opinion they suck ass.
