Anyone pay for there VPN service?

I'm from a country where steroids are legal anyway so not that bothered about hiding but I have other concerns about privacy. What do you use as your primary vpn?
I had recommended Express as #1 before due to the fact that they had a real world case where a server seizure turned up ZERO evidence. I still trust them as a company.

Their story makes sense too. I work in security at a security software company. I literally know guys who have gotten slammed for hacking then turned white hat. So I'm really not spoke by the story. One of them made half a million on bug bounties last year... fuck me LOL. The nerds often win out in the end financially.

What do you mean by "how good?"

Speed?
Security?
Real life instances/proof that they don't work with law enforcement or keep logs?

Sorry, MFAAS, i didn't realize you had replied until now. Mainly security. i've read about VPNs leaking your IP address or something to that effect. i'm not super savvy in this area so i wondered if there was a way to check for something like this.

Here's some sites that can help detect any IP/DNS leaks from your VPN:

Code:
https://ipleak.net/
https://www.expressvpn.com/dns-leak-test
https://nordvpn.com/features/dns-leak-test/

A couple examples above are from VPN providers and those tools on their sites can test to see if their VPN software is properly configured.

Coded the links above as not sure of the rules of this section to be safe.

Steroids may be legal where you are now, and so there may be no need right now to take steps to protect yourself, but I would consider it prudent to take precautions anyway, because laws can change on a dime, overnight.

There is one case I can recall, where laws covering a particular form of erotica changed one fall, with a new law coming into force in the following New Year. The law was changed quietly, without a lot of fanfare, and because the materials in question were legal, few people bothered to take any precautions to protect themselves.

Essentially, LE compiled lists of people interested in that particular form of erotica, and raided them, after it became illegal to possess in the New Year.

That’s another way of looking at it which I never really thought of and your totally right. I’ve purchased stuff online without anything and now when a think about it, it was really foolish..Looking into maximum privacy now so hopefully I can get better. Thanks for your input mate appreciate it!

cashback sites ( in the uk at least ) often have 90% on vpn services at least a couple of times a year
